Thia is prim and proper.
Bear is leather and lawless.
It will never work between them.
It's a lie they almost believe...

It is necessary to first read King and Tyrant to fully enjoy Lawless.

If you haven’t read King or Tyrant, STOP you can’t read this, however….

It might have some spoilers but I will do my best to not make it so spoiler-ish that you can’t read it. If you want, skip down to the end, I have a nice over view of the review.

This is Bears story, I wasn’t sure how I felt about Bear in the first two books but once I got to Tyrant I sort of liked him a little bit more than I did. This book, while not my favorite, I still enjoyed the first part of Bears story and I look forward to seeing what happens next because OMG that end.

Bear is OUT of the Beach Bastards Biker Club. He chose King and his father wasn’t happy about that, once a Biker always a Biker, only way out is to die and if you leave it’s like signing your death wish. Bear leaves and promises not to come back, it is easier to run away. Thia meet a biker a long time ago that made her a promise. Now she’s in trouble and needs his help but was his promise genuine? or did things get more complicated

I LOVE Bear but this story was hard to read. A lot happens to Bear in the last book and almost the same thing happens to Thia. I thought the insta-love was WAY insta. Like super fast, I wanted a little more back story into Thia or a little build up between the two. I think this story was a lot harder to read than King and Tyrant and those has some dark moments. I felt bad for Bear but I think Thia is good for him and even if the love was quick I did like them together. He is very protective of her and the cliffhanger at the end might have made me fall a little harder for him. He really wants to protect her. I hate his father and I was happy to see King and Doe in this book again. You get a lot of cameos from last book. I am concerned about the end of this book. It looks like an ally might not be what he seems and I am sort of freaking out because of who it is. I plan to read the next book very soon.

Overall,  I love Bear and Thia’s story, they have great chemistry and I have a feeling the next book will be even harder to read. These two have been through a lot but this story has all the awesome feels and a lot of pretty steamy moments. Like REALLY hot. Highly recommend this book and this series, it is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
