The Couple and The Book…
Bree and Rowan
My couple, Bree and Rowan, are from a series I discovered recently, Everealm. They are childhood sweethearts (though they don’t actually really realise that) and friends, but were torn apart when Bree’s father discovers them together. Years later, after the death of Bree’s father and at her Coronation, Rowan returns and the two of them have to deal with their feelings towards each other, as well as saving their Kingdom.
I can’t help but love Bree and Rowan for several reasons. The first is that Rowan is quite possibly my favourite character in the entire series, and the second is that the two characters are passionate in every way. While there was great chemistry between them they also argued throughout the book. Rowan isn’t afraid to stand up to Bree, even though she is his Queen (and able to give him a rather intense silent treatments!)
There are 3 books currently released in the series; Everealm, Wildfire and Blood Moon, and I’m definitely looking forward to the fourth book Aurora! Each book has sucked me in more than the last and before I’d even finished Blood Moon I wanted to have the next one to read.
Everealm is set in a fantasy world, and as the series progresses the story begins to span more and more kingdoms and introduces new characters. I loved seeing the old characters, like Bree and Rowan, grow as well as going on an adventure with new ones. There’s politics, romance, magic and action in Everealm, and it’s a great combination!

I’ve never heard of this series, Laura, but I’m going to check it out. I like the sound of Rowan standing up to Bree even if she is a queen…that shows what he’s made of. 😉 Thanks for putting more books on my tbr, my dear! *ha*

I’m still relatively new to the series (I read book 1 at the end of last year) but having just read the recently released book 4 I am completely and utterly enthralled!
These look good, and I like the names Bree and Rowan (little things like that matter to me LOL). And the book titles too- Blood Moon and Everrealm. Yes please. Sounds like a good fantasy with lots of character development between the two leads. Thanks for sharing it!

I hadn’t heard of this series before. I like the covers and it sounds like a great series with the politics, romance and magic! And Bree and Rowan sound like a great couple, I like that Rowan isn’t afraid to stand up to Bree even though she’s the queen.
I hadn’t heard of it either until I randomly picked up Everealm & Wildfire on Netgalley (which was totally a cover thing) but each book I read drags me more into their story, and I’m looking forward to reading Aurora now that it’s out!
