I FAILED A CHALLENGE I MADE UP!!! Who does that…well apparently me…I can’t believe I failed!!! This was totally bad planning on my part and next time (yes there will be a next time) I plan to get the books before the challenge starts not during. I am sort of bummed but I still plan to read the rest of the series since I enjoyed the first book. 🙂

So, as promised, we’ll be giving away (2) $5 gift cards to Amazon, selected randomly from every participant that successfully completed their series. If you said you wanted to try and read 2 or more but only read 1 completely, that’s okay. The challenge was just for one, so you’re a winner in our book!

To show us that you completed the challenge correctly, we just need a screen shot of the series page on goodreads, showing all the books read. You can do this in a blog post, twitter post, facebook post, etc. Like this (my successfully completed series):

Halfmoon hollow
You’ll notice 2 of Berls books look unread. 1 is just another printing of a story she read and the other is a short that she couldn’t find. Shorts aren’t required so she’s good.

As a side note, we’d love to do this again – but not during COYER this time. Berls and I had too much going on to do anything extra with the challenge. But we loved the concept of it and would like to add a hashtag, twitter party, etc. So be on the lookout for another challenge in the spring!

Thanks for joining us! So… Could You Read a Series in a Month

  1. I completed this challenge but it was tough. It was a combination of being busy with work and the fact that these books didn’t turn out as good as I hoped. So I was bored and it took longer for me to read. I’d love to do this again, when I don’t have any other challenges too lol.

  2. I was going to join this challenge because I had a partially finished series on my #ShelfLove list. I re-read book 1 and started on book 2 and had to abandon it! The 2nd book was horribly translated, not that book 1 was all that great either! So another tip, pick a series you like!! 🙂
