Finish out Jan to focus on Feb ~ Task It Tuesday!

What is Task It Tuesday? It is where every week I list a task or tasks that I would like to accomplish on my blog or in Real Life before next Tuesday. It can be big or small but the goal is to get something done that will make my blog/reading life/challenges run smoother, faster, or more efficient and/or get those simple or complex tasks done in my real life. I will also be sharing organizing tips and linking with posts from bloggers that have some great tips and tricks for keeping you and your blog/real life organized.

 This weekend is Bloggiesta and you know how much I love that. I plan to do a lot of posts over the weekend so I will be taking it easier during the week to get myself ready for 3 days of blogging, I plan to start bloggiesta a day early, since I am home on Fridays. So most of the week will be cleaning the house and getting ready. I am almost done with posts for Jan, I need to draft a bunch for the end of the year (need to make a list of what needs to be set up) and I am also going through some logos and redoing them because I am looking for a cleaner look when it comes to some of my logos. I almost changed my header but changed my mind. I still like it like that. Just the post logos seem rather busy and I wanted something different with the same color scheme. I also have a few new ones I want to make so I plan to start that next week.

  • 24 in 48 Read-a-thon
    • If you’re new to 24in48, this is the basic gist: beginning at 12:01am on Saturday morning and running through 11:59pm on Sunday night, participants read for 24 hours out of that 48 hour period. You can split that up however you’d like: 20 hours on Saturday, four hours on Sunday; 12 hours each day; six four-hour sessions with four hour breaks in between, whatever you’d like.

  • 2017 Reading Assignment Challenge 
    • Great for your reading goals and tasks. This challenge is year long and will help you get to those books that you have always wanted to read but next had time to.
  • My TBR List – Monthly Meme
    • I host this one ~ Each month you will make a post with three books from your TBR List (these books can be already on your kindle or shelf or books you might want to purchase) and add your link on the linky that will be provided on Because Reading is Better than real life blog. Your followers and the people on the linky will help you choose which book you will read next. The following Saturday you will announce the book that won, then read the book, and on the last Saturday of the month post a review. For more details click on link above.
