Week in READ-view & The Sunday Post

WIR vectorstock_43821-1-1Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Real Life & Blog News:

I’m sneaking in this post since I was suppose to be on vacation right now and since I am home I figured I would do an update πŸ™‚

My daughter had a fever on Friday, all day, about 100 to 101 and was complaining of a headache, then her fever spiked to 103 but with only a headache. I was a bit worried so I had to take her to the doctors on Saturday to find out what was going on before we left on vacation. She has the starts of a sinus infection (with all my sinus issues I should have realized that) Doctor said we caught it really early so it will take a day or two to get better. We check into the hotel on Monday but we are leaving on Sunday to go to the shore house then leaving from there on Monday morning, it’s about an hour and a half drive from the shore house.

We also had the Cat’s stitches taken out but her tail isn’t 100% healed and needs medicine to avoid an infection so that was another reason we are leaving on Sunday.

I might not be able to comment on all your blogs until later since I will be traveling in the morning that is I usually visit everyone. Starting Monday I will have no access to anything only my phone/iPad if they have WiFi until late Friday (not sure if I will have a post up next week)

Please stop by Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun for the COYER Update this week.

Look what I got myself πŸ™‚

1972355_10204278603422209_8741693833914371146_nI bought one for my mom and husband πŸ™‚ I couldn’t resist, I have my OWN MUG!!!

Did you all see Sharknado 2? Is that not the Best Worst Movie EVER!!! I loved the live tweets and couldn’t resist joining in. SyFy had the worst movies on the planet but they are fantastic. I am always looking forward to the 31 days of Halloween since they have the dumbest scary movies and since I am a huge B-Horror movie fan SyFy is like my favorite channel πŸ˜‰

BTW I am looking for a Sharknado Mug if anyone sees one let me know. I am a collector of Mugs or as my husband thinks a hoarder of Mugs but who listens to their husband anyway πŸ˜‰ So if you see one let me know…Its a NEED more than a want…Lol.

  3. {{{posivibes}}} for a speedy recovery for your daughter. No Sharknado for us since we don’t have satellite or cable. But please tell me you’ve at least watched Attack of the Killer Tomatoes? If you haven’t, you *must*. lol And your mug is so cool! I used to do dye sublimation and I wish I still had the printer and ink to do it. I could do my own mug. πŸ™‚ Safe travels and happy vacation!

  4. Nice mug! πŸ™‚ I haven’t seen either Sharknado yet (I know, what’s the deal??) but I have to , I keep hearing all this stuff. A Sharknado mug- that is so happening, just a matter of time. We get mugs too, pretty every where we go… and end up hardly using most of them LOL!

    Have a great vacation!

  5. Hope Julia gets to feeling better really soon! And don’t worry about a thing – we all need to take some time and just unplug. I need to take a vacation actually – I’m thinking of taking a spontaneous vacation in the next week or so, since I can’t find a job anyway. LOL πŸ™‚

Gah, your poor daughter. At least you caught it quickly. I hope you enjoy your vacation.

I love the mug! I also hoard mugs but I haven’t yet done one with my blog logo, hmm.

    Happy vacation!

    • Vistaprint.com it was $12 I’m sure I could find cheaper but I was so excited it didn’t bother looking lol

Good thing is she woke up this morning saying she feels much better πŸ™‚ so fingers crossed!!!
      Thank you oxox

  8. I hope you daughter feels better soon, it’s not fun to be sick while on vacation. And I hope your cat wil recover quickly, do you take your cat with you on vacation or does she stay home?

That mug is so awesome! I love weird mugs as well. I am currently drinking tea from a big orange Miffy mug (Miffy is a bunny from a dutch children book series, although I think it’s translated as well. Her Dutch name is Nijntje). I once had a mug shaped like licorice, but unfortunately it broke, I think i stil have it somewhere though.

    Have a great vacation!

    • WE LOVE MIFFY in this house!!! My Son use to watch it on TV all the time. He found it on netflix and was watching it. It’s a cute show πŸ™‚

She stays home my friend who lives downstairs from us is going to keep an eye on her since she needs meds and I have another friend who will take her to the vet if her tails gets infected so we are covered all around but I will still be a nervous wreck all week…a mommy always is πŸ™‚ The dog will come with us but will be staying at the shore house with my mom and dad.
