Crazy but productive ~ WIR & TSP

Posted April 3, 2016 by Michelle in The Sunday Post, WIReadview / 19 Comments

WIR&TSPWeek in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, post a recap of the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

On the Blog & Real Life:

It’s Autism Awareness Month so my header will be blue for the entire month of April! 🙂

Easter was very nice, the kids loved their gifts and had fun looking around the house for Easter eggs. We had family over for dinner and once again I was totally stuffed. It was a nice day, my son was on spring break and now my daughter will be this week. I wish they had it at the same time but it never seems to work out that way.

I finally found cages and plan to order them this week so this time next week I should have pictures of our two new little fluffy hamster babies 🙂

My daughters is having so much fun with softball, I am so happy she is loving it and my husband is even more excited about it. I realized one of her games might be during the 24 hour Read-a-thon but I will be able to do both. I am excited to see her play and will be sneaking a few pages while I am. I am hoping to do a mini challenge during the read-a-thon that will be fun and encourage people to read because I had an idea and I am hoping others will want to join in, plus I think I will be giving something away too if they do join me 🙂

I thought this week with my boss away I would have a somewhat quiet week but NOPE, the guy that is in charge of the office while my boss is away feels the need to include me in everything that is going on. So I have been a complete crazy person at work trying to get stuff done and help him handle things. I am shocked to say I can’t wait for my boss to come back. 🙂

Happily the blogging slump is gone and I decided to read something I have wanted to for a while to ditch my reading slump and so far I think it is working and will reading something else I have on my shelf after that just to make sure it’s totally gone.

The weather this week needs to find someplace else to go because I just can’t take it anymore, pick a temp! Really! It’s either in the 40s or 70s with Rain, snow or wicked wind. The weather gods need to lay off whatever they are drinking or at least share it because I want to be that f*cked up too.

  1. It’s great that your daughter continues to love softball! I hope she’ll keep it up – it’s always great when they find something they’re really passionate about 🙂

  2. I didn’t know you worked on top of everything else! You’re crazy, girl!!! And you KNOW Jake and I will be watching Powerpuff Girls tonight, too!!

Did you sign up for My Nintendo yet? They just opened it up and it’s slightly annoying but it replaces Club Nintendo. You almost HAVE to make a Miitomo on that app just to earn any coins for My Nintendo. You’ll see… Meh..

Here’s hoping your boss comes back SOON!!!!

  3. The Powerpuff stuff makes me so happy. My daughter loved them when they were around the first time and it was one of the few shows that I actually really enjoyed watching with her! I bet you’re ready for your boss to be back. That sounds crazy having to help the guy filling in and do your job. Enjoy the hamsters! They can be so cute. Have a great week!

  4. I was surprised at your blue header at first, until i saw the autism awareness message. Sounds like you had a great Easter and the kids enjoyed their presents and eggs. And yay for finally finding the cages, I know you’ve been looking for those for a bit.

That’s exciting your daughter is enjoying her softball so much and that sounds like a good way to combine it, to take a book to her game and do both the readathon and see her game.

Yay that’s great your blogging slump is finally gone! I am so happy for you! I didn’t realize the powerpuff girls were coming back, I really enjoyed that show as a kid. So that’s why I’ve been seeing powerpuff girls everywhere. Have a great week and enjoy your books!

  6. Our weather is out of whack, too, ranging from the 40s to 90 degrees. It makes it really hard to pack ONE bag not knowing which personality Texas is going to choose every 4 hours. Friday morning we had hail. I’m glad your daughter is enjoying softball. I loved playing, and if I had the time, I would play in a league now. I hope next week is back to normal for you at work!

  7. Yay for slumps being gone!!! I just came out of a blogging slump myself. I LOVE the PowerPuff Myself app!! I have been having so much fun with it. Hope you have a great week and enjoy all your current books!

  8. Our weather has been super crazy too! It sounds about the same except we’ve had hail (twice this week!) and not snow. I’ve been in a bit of a reviewing slump. I just don’t seem to want to get my thoughts down about the books I’ve been reading. I’ve been enjoying them but the reviewing part feels so forced! I hope your slump is over. 🙂

  9. Yeah we went from sunny and pretty nice yesterday to snow today. It was almost a blizzard at times the way it was coming down. Crazy. Glad you had a nice Easter…

Hamsters! Are those easier to take care of than crabs? I would think so…
