I had received the book from the publisher for this book and after listening to the audio of her last book Kiss of the Spindle I actually took it upon myself to purchase the audio of this book so I can listen to it because I loved the last narrator and I totally loved this one also.
This book is just fantastic, I loved the pace and the chemistry between the characters. I have adored Hazel since the first book and was so excited that she was going to get her own story. I loved her story and how it was laid out. I thought this was an excellent retelling and all the paranormal/steampunk elements just enhanced the story. Listening to the voices of the characters just made me so happy and I loved the banter sometimes. I may have laughed a few times, out loud. I just really loved Sam and Hazel. The story had some creepy elements too which I loved. I couldn’t get enough of this story or the characters.
The Narrator is fantastic, I loved her voice and how easy she told this story. I am considering going back and listening to the first book. She accent is perfect and she really gave them a great voice.
I believe you can read this series in any order but I recommend reading it in order. I can’t wait to see what fairytale she is going to retell next. I am so excited and this series will always be one of my most anticipate for as long as she writes them.
I can’t recommend this book and/or series enough. Whether you read the physical or listen to the audio I do hope you love it as much as I did. I don’t give many 5 star rating but this one could have easily been a lot more. I thought Beauty and the Clockwork Beast was my favorite in this series but I might actually like this one better but it’s really hard out of the three to pick just one…..I honestly love this series so much! You must give it a try!
Michelle loved The Lady of Coppergate Towe ~ 5 Star Review! One of her favorites series! #properromance Share on XThanks for stopping by to check out my review.
Have a great day and Happy Reading!
You seem to have real good luck with this publisher. I really need to try them! Great review!
I remember seeing Kiss of the Spindle around and I desperately wanted to read it! I’ll have to check it out for sure! I love when a series focuses on different characters, like this one, but still see characters from the other books.
