My top thoughts:
There were some elements to this that I really liked. For example, the relationship between Carly and her cousin Delia and just the wacky crazy dynamics they have going on. But so many of the characters were actually fairly forgettable – I mixed them up frequently and just never really got attached to most of them. I have almost 0 investment in the love interest đ The mystery was pretty good, though, and there were a few really fun twists to it. Overall, I’m invested enough to continue, but not chomping at the bits to read the next book.
Who I think would like it:
If you’re a fan of cozy mysteries, I think you’ll enjoy this as I did. Particularly ones with a bit of the paranormal thrown in.
Narrator thoughts:
The narration was okay, though I wasn’t in love with the accents from the get-go. They grew on me and I ended up enjoying her narration overall.

I think I’ve read a few in this series and have a similar feeling – fun but not memorable.
I thought this series was cute but really not to memorable and I didn’t like the narrators accent either it was hard to listen too!
