My top thoughts:
I think I ended up liking Mine to Keep even more than Mine to Take, if that’s possible! I liked the character development a lot and I was really clueless as to who the killer was right up until the reveal. I didn’t really even have any good guesses. I just knew who I thought it certainly wasn’t.
We met some new characters in this book and I’m super excited for their story (I think I like them even more than Skye and Trace from (the MCs in these two books). Brandee and I plan to buddy read them as well.
Who I think would like it:
If you like a good suspense/mystery that keeps you guessing, this is a book for you. The romance is secondary, but also really well thought out. And this one has one of the absolute best sex scenes I’ve read. So memorable!
I’ve always been a fan of Cynthia Eden. I don’t read her consistently. I meant to read on in this series. I read the first one Mine to Take as a freebie my first year of blogging for my Thrifty Thursday. Maybe I’ll finally go forward now.
