So this last week was SUPER busy and I didn’t get a lot of time to really get those movies written down. However, this week I was able to watch the One Hallmark movie I wanted to, Marry Me at Christmas.

Marry Me at Christmas (2017)
TV-G | 2h | Comedy, Family, Romance | TV Movie 28 October 2017

IMDB

A bridal boutique owner (Rachel Skarsten), who is deep in the flurry of planning an exquisite Christmas wedding, is unexpectedly swept off her feet by the bride’s brother (Trevor Donovan).

Director:Terry Ingram
Writer:Julie Sherman Wolfe
Stars: Rachel Skarsten, Trevor Donovan, Emily Tennant

I read the book for this one and I must say…the book was better. I don’t remember it going exactly like it did in the movie. They changes A LOT around and I was sort of bummed about it. I really loved the chemistry in the book and it sort of wasn’t there in the movie. Of course the book is always better but I had such high hopes.

Ok but if I was going to look at the movie from a point of view that someone didn’t read the book, it was cute. I wasn’t sure about Johnny Blake but he sort of grows on you and Madeline Krug was a good fit, she was cute I actually thought she did a great job as the MC. Overall it was a cute movie, I just wish it was a little more like the book.

I still haven’t watched Stranger Things 2. I was hoping my husband would watch it with me and we could watch season 1 than 2 but he is boring and doesn’t want to watch it. So I guess at some point I will have to squeeze it in! I knew Christmas movies were going to take over my next few weeks. So expect more Xmas reviews, I plan to start keeping track of what I watch so I can tell you my most favorite movies and my least favorite.

  1. We are starting Stranger Things next week and I’m super excited about it. I haven’t actually started Christmas movies yet though I’m really excited about them. I discovered I had a Hallmark Thanksgiving movie and ended up watching that which was really fun. I think I’ll give this one a miss though I might look for the book!

    • You make me want to watch river dale so badly but I can’t watch it right now yet. I’m glad you think the second season of stranger things is better. I liked the first one but it didn’t blow me away.
