DNF Review ~ Girls Made of Snow and Glass #MyTBRList

Posted December 30, 2017 by Michelle in Review / 4 Comments

I was so hoping this was going to be the book to get me out of my slump. It was a Snow White retelling and I LOVE snow white. This just didn’t work for me at all and it makes me so sad.

I didn’t like the characters, no matter what I did I wasn’t a fan of Lynet or Mina. They both seemed a lot younger then they were suppose to be. Lynet was 16 and acted 10 and Mina was 34 maybe and acted 18. It was really throwing me off. The story was ok but the build was taking longer than I would have wanted. I just couldn’t get past the fact that I wasn’t liking Lynet at all. I was excited to think that she had an attraction to the female doctor but I didn’t even get far enough to find out if that even happens. I just wasn’t liking it.  I got almost halfway through the book and just had to stop. I might go back and try it again maybe but for now I am just putting it aside.
