Face Time (Love in the Digital Age #1)
By SJ Pajonas
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Age category: Adult
Release Date: April 25, 2014
Blurb:
After the best first date ever, Lee thought Laura was funny, intelligent, and impulsive; a whirlwind of bright laughter and happiness. Laura loved Lee’s sweet smile and the way he expertly filled in every awkward pause. He held her hand and then pulled her in for the most perfect kiss sheís had in years. What could possibly be wrong? Just the 7000 miles that separates them the next day.Even though Lee has gone home to Seoul, Laura can’t stop thinking about him. What starts as an innocent text thanking him for their dinner date becomes something much more: someone either of them can’t live without. But Laura’s got a live-in mother going through a midlife crisis, and Lee’s stressful traveling schedule means they’ll be apart for some time. Life, family, and a complicated past also get in the way, and they’re both going to need actual face time to figure it out.
Told from both Lee and Lauraís point of view, FACE TIME is a funny, romantic, modern-day story about two people who connect across the world.

I had the chance to talk to SJ Pajonas and ask her a few fun questions 🙂
1. It’s a rainy Sunday afternoon, What movie would you want to see on TV?
Oceans 11, the George Clooney version.
2. If you went to a Psychiatrist, what would he/she say you suffer from?
That’s an easy one. Fear of failure. I’m a Capricorn. We all have that fear!
3. What was your favorite childhood game?
Kick the can. All the neighbors kids played until the streetlights came on and our moms called us in to dinner. I loved it.
4. Who is the most famous person you ever meet?
I once talked to Kyle Maclachlan at a party, and I stood next to Sarah Jessica Parker in line for lunch at my old workplace, HBO. That’s as close to famous people as I have ever gotten.
5. What is your favorite kind of cereal?
Honeycomb cereal is my all-time favorite.
6. What is your favorite snack food?
Popcorn. I eat it almost every day!
7. How do you like to relax?
I like to read a book in the sun, or, if it’s winter, on the couch under my electric blanket.
8. What is the scariest scene you remember from a movie as a kid?
E.T. when he gets sick and the government comes for him. Still scary.
9. Which animal scares you the most? Why?
Snakes. I have a bonafide snake phobia that my therapist thinks will never be cured of. I can’t look at photos of them even. If I see one on TV, I’m likely to cry and pass out.
10. Where is your favorite place to eat? What do you like to order?
I love going out for Indian food and I always get a dosa or Malai Kofta.
11. What season do you prefer? Why?
Summer! Always and forever. I hate being cold, and I love everything about summer. The green trees. The heat. The pool. The beach. It’s the best.
