February 2017 Monthly Book Report

Posted March 1, 2017 by Michelle in Monthly Book Report / 4 Comments

This month was a lot better with reading. I didn’t get to all the books I wanted to but now that COYER is over I can finally get to some of the books on my shelf. I am skipping this week what book I want to read for next month but only because I have been mood reading a lot lately. I have picked a lot of quick reads because I can’t seem to focus on books for a long time. I think the weird weather and me having a bit of a cold the last few weeks has made my focus a little off, however, that hasn’t stopped me from reading some pretty awesome books this month.

Clicking on the pictures will take you to goodreads.

Books I read this month

  • Edge of Extinction by Laura Martin four-half-stars
  • The Titanic Mission by Gan Gutman four-stars
  • The Stone Keeper by Kazu Kibuishi four-stars
  • Stepbrother: No Limits by Lauren Landish three-stars
  • Midnight, Ghosts and Gold by Bernard Luthi four-stars
  • Heat Exchange by Shannon Stacey four-stars
  • Turner Street by R.S. Veira four-stars
  • Hollow Blood by Austin Dragon three-stars

Books I grabbed this month

No too bad, I really want to get to these soon and I am excited to read all of them.

  1. The Summer of Bad Ideas has such a cute cover, and I keep being drawn to Amulet’s cover. Being under the weather really effects my reading. I am still not really able to get out of my “list of books to read next” mode and into reading by mood. I think I’m too Type A for that. Hopefully your attention gets more focused and your reading picks up in the coming weeks!

    • That is a really cute cover. The MG books always do! The weather is so weird I have a feeling I’m going to be on and off sick until summer.
