Finished one now on to the next….

Posted February 19, 2013 by Michelle in Review / 8 Comments

I just finished Falling Kingdoms but I haven’t written a review yet because I really was a jerk reading this book. I had started and stopped about 3 times to put this book on hold to read other books.

Shame on me!!!!

I really wish I stayed with this book till the end because I really liked it. I really really did!!!! It was Game of Thrones for YA (mind you I haven’t read the Game of Thrones books, so I’m assuming. I LOVE the HBO series, I will eventually read them but after the HBO series is over cause I don’t want to ruin the show which is totally backwards, it’s ok that’s how function best, totally backwards)

Anyway before I give it a review I wanted to post the synopsis of the book so you can see what it was about. I think my review will be short because its one of those books that if you give to much away you ruin it for everyone else and I’m not a ruiner (made up word sort of cause I did a google search for it and it showed up as a word, who knew!!!) of stories.

Falling Kingdoms (Falling Kingdoms, #1)

didn't like it it was ok liked it really liked it (my current rating) it was amazing

Falling Kingdoms (Falling Kingdoms #1) by

In a land where magic has been forgotten but peace has reigned for centuries, a deadly unrest is simmering. Three kingdoms grapple for power—brutally transforming their subjects’ lives in the process. Amidst betrayals, bargains, and battles, four young people find their fates forever intertwined:

Cleo: A princess raised in luxury must embark on a rough and treacherous journey into enemy territory in search of a magic long thought extinct.

Jonas: Enraged at injustice, a rebel lashes out against the forces of oppression that have kept his country impoverished—and finds himself the leader of a people’s revolution centuries in the making.

Lucia: A girl adopted at birth into a royal family discovers the truth about her past—and the supernatural legacy she is destined to wield.

Magnus: Bred for aggression and trained to conquer, a firstborn son begins to realize that the heart can be more lethal than the sword. . . .

The only outcome that’s certain is that kingdoms will fall. Who will emerge triumphant when all they know has collapsed?

 I will post a review soon…….

  1. I couldn't get into Cinder. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about Scarlet. Just because I couldn't like Cinder, doesn't mean I wouldn't like Scarlet, right?

I've just begun following you. If you get a chance, please check out my blog.

    • Thanks for the follow!!! I followed you back..
I had started reading a sample of Cinder about 4 months ago and didn't think i would like it so I never bought it. Then I started seeing a bunch of people talking about it and how great it was so i gave it another try. I was surprised at how much i like it. So far Scarlet has a lot to do with the first book. It's almost like two stories

  2. So far its really good. I actually am liking it more then i thought i would.
