WIR vectorstock_43821-1-1Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Real Life & Blog News:

It snowed….again! about 4 inches….on the first day of spring…..Is this shit over yet?

Well I can’t stay away any longer, I missed this too much πŸ™‚ My blog will still be lacking post next week but I am hoping to have a bunch of awesome posts in the next couple of weeks! (Thank you bloggiesta) If you don’t know what I am about to talk about you can find the details HERE

I thought I would give a quick update on my son and his new Meds. This have been going great and we see a positive change in him. I am so happy and I am hoping it will be all up hill from here. I know we might hit a few bumps in the road but we are all in a good place now and feel that we have made the right choice for him and his issues. He’s an amazing kid and such a sweetheart so I know he will over come this and I will be there every step of the way for however long he needs me (even if he thinks he doesn’t I’ll see be there) He is my heart and I adore him, I am just so happy this is helping him give me back my Ryan!

The break was nice I did a bunch of reading and played a few games I haven’t played in a long time. I use to be obsessed with Hidden Object games from (Big Fish Games) so it was nice to sit and play again, it kept my mind busy and gave me more time with the kids. However this blogging community is hard to stay away from I missed all of you and your blog posts & twitter chats. I was starting to get antsy by Friday! πŸ™‚ Since this week (yes ALL WEEK) is bloggiesta, I might not be in front of the blog as much as behind the scenes but I will be around πŸ™‚ I have a lot of stuff to do and super excited about doing it this week I plan to be extremely productive! If you have commented on any of my posts and I haven’t responded or visited you I will try as much as I can to comment at least on the posts you commented on. I will be back to visiting blogs soon, trying to work out a better blogging schedule so I can make time to visit, chat and do all the setup posts and not drive myself crazy or get over stressed! I also thought of making one day a week of no blogging stuff a day to read, play games or do what I need to do. It will keep things less stressful, I tend to be a bit OCD when it comes to blogging, two years of being completely obsessed so I need to stop doing that. It’s JUST SO HARD!!!! I love doing this so I just want to give myself a day to refresh and not be so OCD. I am sure you all can relate πŸ™‚

Ok I will stop talking now!

  2. Omg why is it snowing? It’s been 60-70s here for the last couple weeks. We are surprised to be seeing spring weather, it usually just gets really hot after winter! I’m glad to see you are enjoying your blog break… if you can stay away from the community for much longer πŸ˜‰

  3. Welcome back and it sounds like you had a fun time while you were away. It’s nice to take a break and spend time with the family. It’s good to hear your son’s medicine is working well. I hope that continues and you get all you wanted done for bloggiesta. Have a great week (with no more snow)!!

We got 2 inches of snow for the first day of spring. I think Mother Nature needs a vacation. I’m glad your son is doing better and I hope that continues. *crosses fingers* Good luck with bloggiesta!

  6. I just really can’t stay away πŸ™‚
We are very happy that he is starting to go back to normal. We noticed this weekend that he still have minor meltdowns but they are not bad at all and go away as easily as they come.

I just think it’s easier not to stress if you visit or not, I love visiting and I will but I can’t do it every day otherwise I would get nothing done lol. I have seen some bloggers that NEVER visit anyone so I think we do pretty darn good πŸ™‚

  7. Yay for being back! I thought I woudls top by to see if you had a weekly recap post and was so happy to read you are back!

We also had some cold weather here, but no snow. One day it’s warm and the next day it’s cold. And that’s great news the meds are helping Ryan! I am so happy for you and your family and it must be great to see him being more like his old self again.

It’s hard making time for blogging sometimes and to get everythgin doen yu want to. I also have weeks I hardly get any visiting done and then weeks where I have alot of time blog visiting. I actually wrote some discussion posts this week and it’s so nice to be a bit more ahead. I hope you get your blogging schedule figured out and in a less stressing way.

  8. 4 inches of snow? That’s insane! I think that’s natures way of telling you to move to a warmer climate! I love the Hidden Object games! It’s been far too long since I’ve played them but they’re so relaxing. There was a Nora Roberts hidden object game that I loved but my favorites were the Agatha Christie games! That’s fantastic that you’ve gotten to a good place with your son. I know how difficult it can be dealing with schools and doctors and the like. Have a great and relaxing week!

    • I think Mother Nature or whoever runs the weather is confused lol. It pretty much melted now but I would love to move to a warmer climate but I worry I will miss the changing seasons.

I like the scary Hidden Object games, Mystery Case files were my favorite but anything with ghost or creepy rooms I love πŸ™‚ very relaxing.

Thank you, we have our fingers crossed but for now his is doing good!
