We love holiday themed reads from the covers to the warm & fuzzy tales on the inside. For this read-a-thon you must read holiday themed or winter setting reads. For bloggers, we have spoken to most of the main publishing houses and for ARCS of holiday books released in Sept/Oct, they are fine with you posting a review in November and December since that is when folks look to buy them. Below are the rules. Read them, grab the button and link up. For our non-blogger friends you can join too. Just link your Goodreads, Tumblr or Facebook account. Looking forward to spending time with you. Sign up HERE
My Goal:
I love this read a thon because I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I have a bunch of books to read for this read-a-thon and I know I wont get to them all but I am hoping to get to at least 3 or 4 before it’s over. This list is not set in stone because I have a bunch of books I am DYING to read but these are just a few
Books I plan to read…maybe:
I just recently got a bunch of Christmas books so the three below I might read or at least would like to get them in. The read-a-thon starts Thursday but I plan to spend this entire week getting in the Christmas reading mood! π
HI I am doing my first readathon, and I am a newbie blogger! Am enjoying visiting everyone and wishing lots of luck and Happy Reading!!
This is a fun one to start with. Welcome to the blogging world π and Thank you! Good luck with the read-a-thon!
I have never read a Christmas book that wasn’t for kids! I realized I had never read A Christmas Carol , do that is on my list. I am shooting for give books, but hoping for three.
Ooh nice reading list π The Christmas Cottage is on my TBR.
I haven’t read a lot of Christmas books. I tent to stick to ones in series that I’m already reading. Here are a few that I’ve enjoyed
β Caribouβs Gift by Eve Langlais. This was a hilarious about a former military caribou shifter who is asked to play Rudolph in the Christmas parade.
β Gifted by Kelley Armstrong. Two short stories. One in the Women of the Otherworld and the other in Cainsville.
β Iβm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas by Molly Harper. This is set in the Half Moon Hollow series.
β His for Christmas by Skye Warren. This is an erotica.
Thanks for the recommendation. π I am a sucker for a Christmas book .
I almost missed this! I told myself last year that I’d actually join instead of being a creepy lurker in the Twitter party (again)! LoL And I actually made a list of books, too!
I love when you lurk at Twitter Parties, I might not be able to attend that party, I will be hosting a bunch of little girls for Julia’s party.
You can get a lot of good Christmas books with Kindle Unlimited!
Good luck! I was going to do this – but I’m being realistic and saying that a read-a-thon is a bit too much for me at the moment. But I’ll enjoy watching your progress!
Thank you! I think next year you will be able to do a few with no worries.
Cowboy romances are my favorite next to historical, and he is a firefigher..must make him extra hot and smexy….lol. π
I am participating but I found me some holiday mysteries as I wasn’t in a sexy holiday read mood. See I am trying to get in the mood really I am..what better than with Holiday Homicides….lol. π
That one has like everything I love in one book.
Those cozies are super snuggly for Christmas with all the murdering π
I like Christmas reads even though I sometimes have trouble finding some that aren’t chick lit ha ha. But it’s all good, I’ve found a few were mostly mysteries and that was a good combo. And it’s a fun way to get into the holidays… have a great week Michelle!
Greg, my main read for the Ho Ho Ho readathon is called Holiday Homicide…lol. It’s a collection of cozy mysteries, I am not really feeling the romantic fluff of the holiday so I opted for mystery. π
Cozy Christmas Mysteries are good too. I have seen a few on Amazon. Or you could go the opposite and read a few horror Christmas books…those are always fun 0.O lol
Yay! A rat I may actually do well at!
This one is a fun Read-a-thon. I did it last year.
I am kind of cheating π I am counting The Lunar Chronicals as “christmas season” reads since the last one is named Winter π
Lol makes perfect sense π
I haven’t read a lot of christmas books so far, but I am trying to read a few of them this year. I already read one christmas themed book and have one more lined up for later this month. Good luck with this readathon and I hope you can get some of those christmas books read!
I am trying to get a bunch of Christmas reviews for December, I am going to try very hard to get a few novellas read so I have a good amount of reviews π So far I am way ahead.
Oh, you got Cowboy FIrefighter! I’ve been eyeing that one. I read a Heather Horrocks Christmas story a few years ago and I wasn’t impressed, I hope this will be a good one. Have fun!
It looks good and i am hoping to read it next maybe.
I actually liked the Christmas Novella but not the second one, that one was ok. I am hoping this is a good as the first and third one. I feel like I have been waiting forever for it.
This seems like the perfect read-a-thon for you, Michelle! I wish you luck in reading books that will get you even more into the holiday spirit! π
I know lol Thank you! I think this is just going to push me over the edge π
