A weekly feature hosted by Jessi @ Novel Heartbeat. Each week Jessi will choose a subject and I will talk about that subject in my life. The topics will be non-bookish so that you can get to know me on a more personal level!
This is going to be the shortest post ever. I have absolutely NO achievements, I never achieved anything in school or college or work. I am a non-achiever, If getting married and having kids counts as an achievement well than that is all I did 😉
I am a mom to two pretty amazing kids, four pretty cute fluffy children and a wife to one adorable husband. I am a gamer, reader and a graphic designer with 20 years experience. I recently started my own business "Limabean Designs" to help other bloggers, authors and anyone else create amazing things that they would be proud to show off. I have been reading since forever and started blogging because I love sharing all the awesome books this world has to offer. I am also the co-host for the COYER Challenge, Reading Assignment Challenge and the Bookish Resolutions Challenge. I try to create a warm welcoming environment on my blog where authors, readers, and bloggers will have a great time. Let’s chat books, games, blogging, recipes, design, or family over a cup of coffee and a glass of wine!
Do I need to run up to NJ and beat you? LOL! You know I love you, but come on girl! You don’t just have a wonderful family – you’re a great mom, doing an amazing job raising two wonderful kids, not to mention that one of them is on the autistic spectrum bringing a unique set of challenges that many would crumble under. But not you! And what about this blog? Your career? Starting your won business? Quitting smoking? COYER;)? Time to recognize how great you are girlie!!! XOXOXO
I call BS. Maybe you don’t have any walls of trophies or awards, but I say you’ve achieved quite a lot! Stop underestimating yourself. *shakes finger and gives stern look*
I agree with Brandee. Apart from all of the other things you’ve done raising children is one of the greatest achievements any of us can do. It may seem deary but when they’ve grown up into spectacular adults you a get a tremendous sense of achievement. Take care xxx
I don’t think I agree with you, Michelle. You may not have received recognition for a specific something you’ve achieved but you are a talented graphic artist…you run a business, no? You are a good wife, mother, and friend. You balance your business, your family, and running a blog. I think these are all incredible achievements and you should give yourself some credit!! 😀 <3
Aww thanks 🙂 I never really thought of it that way, I have issues talking about myself you can ask Berls she will tell you. She wants to write my Bio because she knows I don’t like say anything about myself. Might have to work on that 🙂

I think that’s a pretty big achievement! How many people isn’t out there trying to do EXACTLY THAT?

*hangs head* I’m just not good at talking about myself, others I am awesome at talking about, but me not so much. 🙂
That simply can’t be true. Having kids and being a blogger (this site is pretty dope), is an accomplishment all in itself!
Thank you 🙂 I guess I am still not very good at talking about myself. Thanks for stopping by Karen 🙂
