Did you miss me? I saw a nude man! ~ WIR & SP

In Real life:

SOOOOOO! DID YOU MISS ME? Well I was only gone for one Sunday Post, so you probably didn’t even notice. This might be a long post, you have been warned. Β My plan originally was to stop doing the Sunday Post until September but I missed you all so much and catching up on everyone that I sort of felt lost. So I came back plus I saw a nude guy and wanted to share.

Sooo I have a weird guy that lives across the street, I would assume he is in his twenties. Every time he sees me, he ends up hanging out his window with no shirt on (pants yes, shirt no) Like two seconds ago he could have been fully dressed, he sees me and BANG! No shirt, hanging out the window. I think he needs glasses, I usually look like I just ran a marathon (I don’t run) hair mess, baggy clothes, no make up, a complete disaster, but some how he must think I am looking at him and I want to see him with no shirt on….um, no, no I don’t. I have a husband that looks very handsome, hot even, so no weirdo across the street I don’t need to see that. Anyway, on Monday, I went into the living room to talk to my husband, we live on the second floor so our window is eye level with the weirdo’s window. I see movement out of the corner of my eye and BOOM! Naked Guy! Like I only caught a glimpse but I knew when he leaned out the window, shirtless, that he was also pants-less. I might have totally freaked out. I ran into our bedroom to look out that window (so he couldn’t see me) and my husband, the awesome guy he is, stood up and stood directly in the window staring across into his window. The weird guy sort of stood and turned and we both got a FULL VIEW OF HIS NAKED ASS! EWWWWW!!! WTF! Why?!?! what was the point. It made no sense, I closed all the shades after that and have been AVOIDING looking in his window because I do not EVER want to see that again…I can NEVER unsee that. PLUS….His ass was NOTHING to write home about. The other naked guy I saw about 10 years ago had a nicer ass than him. Writing this I might have to make a post about all the naked people I have seen because for a 42 year old I have seen a LOT and not in a boyfriend, girlfriend way. Like random naked people, this post got weird fast….maybe I should take another break. πŸ˜‰

My daughter is still having her games and practice so that is taking up a lot of my time again and I am happy to say I have a lot of design work I am working on.Β So I have been busy, the blog has suffered a little but not from a slump, I’ll explain that below. πŸ˜‰

On the Blog:

So from now until June 1st things will be a little light but I am hoping to get June filled up, if I can do that then summer might not be as light as I think it will be. I have one post coming out that I am doing with Stormi, I am so excited for it. I think we might be able to make it a meme. My gears and cogs are turning again in my head. πŸ™‚ I should have a post about it soon while Stormi is away, since I am not sure I can wait. With things so busy in real life, my organizing has taken quite the turn. I feel like I am all over the place, I am starting to make lists of things I need to do and get done. Next week is a long weekend but we will be away, I am hoping to spend sometime doing blogging stuff and reading. It will be a nice mini vacation that I need so very badly! πŸ™‚

I might change the layout of this post and create another post that says what I grabbed and wishing for. So I am not sure yet what I plan to do so just a heads up if suddenly my grabs are gone. πŸ™‚ Might do it on Sundays or Mondays if I do that.

BTW I forgot to tell you, my daughter and I are going to BOOKCON, just on the Saturday since with all the awful stories I have heard about it I didn’t want to spend the money on more than one day. I am hoping it will be fun but I found out you can only schedule for two signings a day and the one and only book I want, is only allowing 100 people. I know I am being negative but from what I have heard from last time they fill the Con and 100 people is like nothing. I am bummed even before I get there. I just hope her and I can have some fun that day since she is really excited.

So sorry this is so long. If you are still here, thank you, you are awesome!

Grabbed

I promised myself I wasn’t going to grab anything from Edelweiss, sadly they have a few others I want but I am holding off for now. I contacted the publisher for Retribution Rails and asked for the ebook because as much as I love physical I read better with ebooks. I was approved and I might have squealed. I actually might read that one next, I am so excited.

  1. I did miss you! Welcome back! πŸ™‚ Glad to hear you missed us as well πŸ™‚ hahaha that guy totally has a crush on you Michelle!!! marathon mess or not πŸ˜‰ NOw you are going to have to post a pic of Mr. Michelle! we are all curious and want to see your hottie πŸ˜‰: I love your loooong weird posts when you come back from breaks! So, YES take a another break! [like a day or two] πŸ˜‰ Have fun at BOOKCON!

  2. OMG please please write the “Naked People I Have Seen” post. The insanity of it all! At our old house the neighbor’s bathroom window faced our driveway. It was one of those big frosted windows over a bathtub (I’m assuming – I never went inside) so you never really saw anything. Until one morning my husband comes flying into the house calling my name because I apparently needed to see too. Apparently neighbor guy had decided that that window needed to be cleaned right then and was pressing up against it cleaning the top part. Apparently if you’re that close the frosted part doesn’t really provide much privacy because we could all tell the carpet matched the drapes! Enjoy BookCon! What fun to go with your daughter! Have a great week!

    • Lol that is funny. My parents house at the shore, if you looked across the lagoon you can see the back of another house. One day my mom was washing the dishes and she looked out the window. The people had an outside shower and the guy walked out naked to grab his towel. I thought my mom was gonna die lol. We laugh so hard at her reaction.
I am looking forward to Bookcon just a little worried it’s going to be crazy. My daughter is excited so I’m just happy she is going with me.

  3. Random naked guy sounds like a doosy. I don’t know why people just don’t stop and think. I hope you and your daughter have a good at BOOKCON. It seems a lot about it has changed this year and I don’t seem to be hearing about it as much. Can’t wait to see what you and Stormi have planned!

Enjoy those new reads and have a great week. Send out possie vibes on Tuesday, I am always afraid the things we packed won’t work or something…lol.

  5. You’re right, I did not notice, but that is because I also did not participate in The Sunday Post last weekend and therefore didn’t visit any blogs lol.

Haha your post title definitely caught my attention. And wow, that guy across the street… He really must like you and want your attention. And maybe he’s an exhibitionist? That prob doesn’t make you feel better to know you might be inadvertently helping him live out his kinks lol. But maybe your husband staring at him finally got the message across? If it makes you feel any better about all the naked people you’ve seen, I’ve been mooned by multiple different people and have seen more than that on a few others (also not in a romantic sort of way), and I’m only in my mid-twenties lol. Have fun at Bookcon!

    • See we totally didn’t miss each other πŸ™‚ It’s like a normal Sunday post for us.

Honestly I am glad I am not the only person that has seen random naked people. I don’t know what he was feeling when he did that but I am also glad my husband stood and watched. I think now maybe he will stop hanging out the window with no shirt. I haven’t seen him in a few days, I’m hoping, he moved lol πŸ™‚

  6. Wow, random naked people, you have been cursed with interesting times! Yay for Summer COYER! I wish I had time to do the series in a month, but I think I would be setting myself up for failure on that one! I can’t wait to see what else you and Stormi have cooked up!

  7. I’ve been so busy lately I didn’t even realize you missed a Sunday post, but now that you mention it, I realize I can’t remember visiting you last week. I am glad to hear you decided to not stop with the Sunday post as well as I always enjoy reading your Sunday post :).

That is weird. I mean i can imagine someone forgetting to close the blinds or so and quickly running past, but to see a guy just casually leaning out of his window naked, is weird. It does make for a funny story though.

I am glad yo hear you got a lot of design work lately :). I hope Bookcon will be fun and you can get the book you want, but yes 100 people doesn’t sound like much for a event like that.

Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

    • Life really needs to slow down, I am also been so busy! It’s crazy!

I would have been find if he was running by but this was on purpose. I know he did it deliberately.

I do have quite a bit of design work, I really need to find a better schedule. Work & Practice/Games has be going crazy and with limited time but I am trying! πŸ™‚

  8. I saw your series in a month challenge. I might try and sign up! There’s too many series I want to read. I’m awful at starting them and not finishing them. I probably have about 20 that aren’t finished. Oy.

Cracking up at your naked guy story.

I also really, really want to read The Memory Trees!

Hope you have a great week!

  9. Wow, your story totally reminded me of Friends, the show πŸ˜€ they also had a weird naked guy across the street. Made me laugh anyway, although that is slightly creepy. I hope he stops doing that! Or draws down the blinds or something.
    Have a great week!

Sorry about your creepy neighbor and his weird nudist tendencies. Sorry also that apparently seeing nude people isn’t a new thing for you….
Hope there are no unwanted nude people in your life this week!

I don’t even know how to reply to that story, the world has gone mad! Sorry you had to see that, I mean, wow, no words! Have a great week, hopefully no more weirdness.

  12. What a weirdo! The neighbor, not you. I’m 49 and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single random naked person. I feel so deprived now. Wait! Can I sorta claim half asses when they hang out of a guys pants or overweight women who try to wear shortwaisted jeans so when they sit down I can see nearly their entire backside and their thong? Because I’ve seen a lot of those. Wtf. If I wanna see so much skin I’ll go to a swinger’s party thankyouverymuch.

I hope you have a fantastic week, Michelle! XOXO

  13. Hey welcome back! πŸ™‚ And I agree with Lexxie- you have the BEST stories. Although that guy across the street… geez louise what is his deal? Wacko! I know that’s not politically correct, but … just saying. And yeah if you’re gonna see that can’t it at least be a nice ass lol?

Yay for Bookcon! Hope it’s fun and not disappointing. And summer COYEr is back- sweet.

    • Thanks! and Thanks lol. I wish I knew, I avoid talking to him because 98% of the time he is hanging out the window with no shirt on. Don’t want to talk to half nude people. Wacko works for me so now worries lol. Almost was a little disappointed. πŸ™‚
I hope so too but my daughter might have fun and it will be an experience I can say I at least tried even if it might be only once.
I am excited for COYER! I missed it! πŸ™‚

  14. Did the naked man have a bat? Not a baseball bat but a living bat… like the one in your parents’ house? I just can’t with your stories, Michelle. Thank you for making me laugh out loud and clear so early on Sunday Morning πŸ™‚

    • This story would have been REALLY weird if he has a bat. I would have had to call him Weird Naked Guy with a real flying bat. πŸ™‚
Yesterday my parents alarm went off in the basement, I was like, awesome another bat. I was so disappointed because we think it was a bug. Stupid bug got me all excited! πŸ™‚
