Not MIA but Still Busy…HAPPY EASTER!~ WIR & TSP

In Real life:

Happy Easter to those that celebrate. Today my family is coming over for my yummy easter dinner. I am really excited. Spent all day Saturday cooking and making pies. I will check in with Sunday Posts while I cook. I can’t wait to see the kids faces in the morning, Easter Bunny isn’t a fan of candy so it’s mostly fun (small) toys.

The first Softball game didn’t go so good but it was most of the girls first time on the field, they may not have won but they did try so hard. I am very proud of them all.

Work was also busy but not too bad. We are still very slow. I am backed up at home with Design Work and trying to organize my time, I am hopeful this week will be a little better. Therapy is OFFICIALLY OVER! πŸ™‚ So my only really busy day will be Thursday for the other game…I hope. Ryan is on spring break this week so I don’t have to get up at 5:30 this week, that makes me ridiculously happy! πŸ™‚

On the blog:

Because of the craziness of last week I am not sure what I will be able to do this week for blog post, so it might be very light while I catch up. I am also slumping really had with reading. I am going to spend the rest of this month reading what I want instead of what I have too. So many awesome books that have been released I want to get to and the ARCS seem to be getting in the way and maybe even causing me to slump a little. I am looking forward to the 24 Hour Dewey Read-a-thon (April 29th) and already signed up for it. I plan to read all the books I want too and I am not making a list. I already did 4 times and I gave up. I am going to read whatever I feel like reading that moment. I’ll update all day to tell you how that goes. lol

So please excuse my lack of posts this week, I do have at least 4 more ideas that will be coming in May/June. I have a feeling once school is over and now that the kids spend about 90% of the day outside, I will be getting a lot more done. The #Wishlist post that I did two weeks ago I am changing around because I thought of a better way I want to share! πŸ™‚

I am still not in any type of blogging slump or in denial, lol, it really has been really busy around here. However like I said I might be in a reading slump and that is pissing me off since last month I did so well.

What I’m Watching:

I watched a Giraffe HAVE A BABY! It was gross but I have already seen a giraffe give birth so I was prepared, I hope everyone eat breakfast at least googled what it looks like because I’m not sure they will be eating for a while. πŸ™‚ The baby is so cute and I got to watch it take it’s first steps. I am excited to watch it grow up. I really want to go to the zoo in the summer. It’s about 2 hours away.

AND….OMG Netflix has the NEW Mystery Science Theater 3000! I will be binge watching that next weekend! I can’t wait! I loved the old one, I can’t wait to watch the new one.

Last Week on the Blog:

  1. Happy Easter! I think I did pretty good with my eats and only took small portions the food was so not on my diet but I didn’t pig out and that is a first for me, stopped when I felt full. πŸ™‚ I am starting to shrink that stomach so it doesn’t want as much but it’s a slow process. πŸ™‚ Hope you at lots of the Easter Pie for me. πŸ™‚

  2. Sounds like a busy week indeed! Here’s hoping things slow down for you, at least a little bit. Thanks for the heads-up about Dewey. I was thinking about it but I’d probably better not right now because it wouldn’t be healthy for me to stay up that long. (Drop by my blog to see why. No, I’m not expecting.) Hope you had a wonderful Easter and that you get to read plenty of good books in the coming week.

Ooh, I’ve been super busy this week as well. I wish we just had infinite time when we wanted it, eh πŸ™‚ or infinite energy, rather. You still blogged a lot, I only blogged once, aside from the Sunday post πŸ™‚

That giraffe was everywhere it was crazy LOL, I see a lot of beloved books and new ones so thanks for sharing and happy Easter!

  5. Happy Easter! I hope you have a great day and dinner today. I am glad to hear your design work is going well. I’ll have two new banner requests for you soon.

btw did you change something about your post formatting? I know something looks a tad different, but can’t figure out what. It looks a bit broader I think?

Sorry to hear about your reading slump, I hope reading what you want instead of the ARC’s is helping you get out of it. I am doing the opposite at the moment and am focusing on those ARC’s as I really want to do better and review them close to release day and it seems I got a bunch of them with release dates in April and May. But so far it’s working for me.

I saw some people share about the giraffe on facebook. That’s neat that zoo is only 2 hours away from where you live. I hope you get to visit it!

Nice haul you got this week! i hope they’re all good books. Have a great week!

    • Happy Easter! I am looking forward to the banners. I honestly love doing them! πŸ™‚
No I didn’t change anything. I did a while ago but more the layout.

It happens, I was on a roll last year and even a few times this year. I have just been so busy I think I just don’t have time and I feel like I am slumping.

I really do want to visit her. My daughter loves giraffes and you can get very close to them, I know she would enjoy that.

Thank you! Those are all books I WANT to read! πŸ˜‰

  6. Happy Easter Michelle! I am sure you will have a fantastic Easter Sunday with your family and all that yummy food. I’ve been drooling over your facebook pictures :p
I didn’t watch April give birth. I hadn’t been following that at all, but thought she was supposed to have given birth in February? I saw the funniest ever FB status yesterday, though : about April “Nice attempt at taking the spotlight from Jesus, April. You attention whore.” I’m still laughing about that one – Leah is very funny!
I have the whole next week off, and I’ve made so much progress on my thesis, I’m half-way there. Which feels so very good!
    Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading, Michelle. Miss you muchly!! {{{Hugs}}}

    • I’ll have more pictures today πŸ˜‰ I love cooking so this is like my element. πŸ™‚

I love watching Animals on a webcam, I used to watch Pandas at the San Diego Zoo. Sometimes they do such funny things. πŸ™‚
That is hilarious! She really did steal his thunder! πŸ™‚

Good luck with the thesis! You are almost done! πŸ™‚

  7. Happy Easter! Good luck with your reads- I think sometimes it does help to read what we want and let the ARC’s go for a bit. AS a mood reader I have to be into what I’m reading or it sits. πŸ™‚

Yes that frickin giraffe finally had the baby lol. Bout time! Um, not that I watching. But the rest of the freakin world apparently was… that’s all anyone I know talks about ha ha. I heard a ton of blood came out so yeah hope people were prepared!!

That dude on Soulless reminds me of a show… Vikings maybe? Not sure but yeah… ha ha have a great weekend!

    • I agree, I am a mood reader also, I think I changed over the years. Just think I need a break from ARCs for a few.

I have been watching it for 3 months but I am a lover of those type of webcams. I used to watch Pandas at the San Diego Zoo and monkeys. Animals are fun to watch and this was amazing. Her water broke and just kept falling.

IT DOES LOOK LIKE VIKINGS! I have been wanting to watch that show. It reminds me of the poster. πŸ™‚
