My Review:

I really enjoyed the first book and I couldn’t wait to get into Logan’s story. As much as I loved the first one this one wasn’t what I was expecting. I think I was missing the banter that Hannah and Garrett had. Logan and Grace were super cute and I do still love Logan but this story was fun to read but was missing a lot of the humor that I enjoyed in the first book.

Grace is the big V and hasn’t been intimate with a guy but has done other things. When Logan accidentally shows up at her dorm room looking for a party and to get away from his monster crush on his BF girlfriend, Hannah. He finds Grace alone and watching a pretty cool movie. One thing leads to another but he leaves living Grace a little unsatisfied. Now he is trying very hard to make things up to her but I big Mistake leads to Grace leaving for the summer extremely hurt and pissed. Avoiding Logan all summer, she returns to school a much stronger girl but will she forgive Logan and give him what she was glad she didn’t give him originally?

I really liked Grace and I enjoyed her confidence that she seemed to get as the story progressed. I also really loved how lovable and determined Logan was. Logan’s backstory was hurt breaking  and gave you a bunch of feels that was hoping things would get better for him.

The Mistake was a fun story with lots of feels and you get a few glimpses at how Garrett and Hannah are doing and I am still looking forward to reading Dean’s story. This is a fantastic series and I can’t wait to read the next one. I can’t recommend this series enough. I am so glad I get the chance to read them. I honestly think you should try them out, you will not be disappointed!

This is turning out to be one of my favorite series Share on X

  1. I’m so happy the second book in this series was fun, Michelle, even if it wasn’t as enjoyable as the first book. Yeah, that banter between characters – it really gets me, so I can understand how you’d miss it. But it sounds like Grace and Logan made for a pretty good pairing. Yay for NA getting you out of your slump…at least a little bit. 😉

  2. I’ve read all three books in the Off Campus series, and I liked all of the guys, but Hannah was the only girl I really liked. I love hockey so naturally I was drawn in by the premise. I thought Grace was a little bland compared to Hannah, but I did like how she made Logan work for it. I especially loved the list she made him do. That was so funny. Tuck’s book is supposed to come out in September. I have a feeling that may be the least interesting of them all. Great post!

  3. I always love banter in books, so I can imagine it would be a bit sad when the first book had that and the second book didn’t. It does sound like a good sequel and I am glad you enjoyed this one. Grace sounds like a great character with her confidence! I hope the next book in this series will be a good one as well.
