Tell Me Something Tuesday was hosted by Rainy Day Ramblings, but she has (temporarily?) stopped blogging. So a group of us that had been doing posts (Linda from Book Girl of Mur-y-Castell, Karen from For What It’s Worth, Roberta from Offbeat YA, Jen from That’s What I’m Talking About and me) decided to get together, come up with some more topics and keep the meme going.Michelle made us a logo and we’re off and running. For more details, check out this post where I reintroduced the meme.
I can be sporadic, but when I do join in I will always share next week’s topic at the end of the post. So, today is about…
Share some books covers you love!
I am so incredibly guilty of picking books by their covers in the past. But I seem to have drifted away from this so I don’t have the best list for y’all. But some covers I’ve marked as loving in recent years:
I’ve learned my lesson over the years, as great covers do not mean great books. Thankfully I really did enjoy most of these, with only two exceptions. And then I haven’t read One Girl in All the World yet, it just came out this month and I have it sitting on my desk waiting for me to get an open space!
Fun!!!
These are all gorgeous. I especially like These Broken Stars and The Almost Queen. And you are so right about a pretty cover not necessarily equating a good book. Thank you for sharing! I hope you have a great weekend!
Oh, These Broken Stars is really pretty!
The Almost Queen has such a pretty cover. Pretty pink colors and I love her dress.
I love covers and have picked up books for their cover, but usually, I like the covers best for the ones that really resonate with the story itself. I love the black and red motif of the Kendare Blake ones.
I enjoy the ones with flowers and trees and water, outdoor scenes . And of course the Patricia Briggs covers are always stunning.
