Reading:

My reading has slowed down a bit. My goodreads goal is set for 100, I am worried I wont make it but I am planning on still trying to get as close as possible I don’t want to change the number since it was part of my bookish resolution. I am hoping to still make it, might need to squeeze in a few Monster porn and more steamy short reads.

Real life & Blogging:

Things have been slowly going back to the normal routine. I think this week coming up will be closer to normal. My daughter goes back to school on the 23rd so then I will have my Fridays back again! Not much to report this week and I think that is great! I am getting organized and trying to get posts together, I plan to do a few posts today and even start setting some stuff up for October. Blog Ahead is coming up and I am hoping to get a few posts done for November and December. Just need to find some reviews to post since reading has been crappy lately. I just can’t seem to get back into the groove yet but I am working on it! 🙂

What I am watching:

Still watching Criminal Minds but I took a break this weekend because eventually all that murder all day can really mess with your head. Thank goodness for the Small Town Murder Podcast, even though it’s murder they still crack me up. They are just so funny.

Just for Fun:

  1. The just for fun had me giggling! 🙂 I really hated IT… The book was terrifying and the movie (the original, I haven’t watched the remakes) left me with nightmares.

Good luck hitting 100! Monster porn sorts everything out! (FYI – I almost choked on my tea when I read that.)

Blog ahead is something I’m looking forward to! I’ve been getting better, or I had been, but I’m falling behind again and need some oomph!

Hope you have a good week, Michelle!

  2. My reading has been terrible lately! All summer really. Oh well.

Love the look of Ten thousand Doors. I’ve heard good things and read a short story by the author too somewhere, and was definitely intrigued.

Love that cartoon! Take that clown!!!

    • I am slowly getting back to reading, summer is usually my reading time but I just wasn’t feeling it this year. It was like I wanted to read all the books but just wasn’t in the mood! lol

    • I am looking forward to the normal again. Last week of crazy I am very happy! 🙂
I need to readjust my challenges and just realized I think I am just going to do a complete do over with everything because I wasn’t expecting to take the summer off.

    • I had to put it on hold since I need to finish my TBR book first but I was totally loving it!
I can’t wait for my fridays back. They are so relaxing and I get so much done!

  3. Hey, maybe you could fit in some short Middle Grades, you usually like those! MG is pretty easy to read and fun! I had been worrying about my goal but I finally caught up and think I am going to be okay..phew! Was worried at the beginning of the year when I wasn’t reading much…lol.

    LOVE the cartoon!

Have a great week and happy reading!

  4. Oh nice! Having Fridays to yourself has got to be really nice! My reading has been cut back greatly this year what with the change in job environment. I had hoped I’d be in a new job that would greatly change my reading time, but sadly, I’m not and I still lose reading time. Not as fun either. Lol. In previous year I would read 100 books too. Perhaps a little more with a few novellas and short stories. This year I won’t even get close to 100, but did pass my goal of 50. If I do ever get a new job, I know that 50 might even be pushing it, so I’m content with that number for this year at least! Lol.

Nice new read too! Been seeing a lot of this one! I hope you end up loving it!
