On & Off the Blog:
One day I will stop disappearing and things around here will go back to normal. From Work to COVID to Cheer Drama…it was like never ending.
Work has taken over and cheer was demanding. A couple weeks ago my daughter decided to leave their current cheer gym (even though I felt we should have left months ago) it was a serious toxic environment. Something no kid deserves, so we left. We will be starting a new gym in May and I am hoping this one will be the one they end with. My daughter is currently tumbling there and learning some new skills.
Work has been crazy busy, we have someone currently that is ok but I am not feeling a lot of back up, thankfully we are in a slow spot so we can catch up but it’s when we are super busy again that it gets stressful. Still love it.
I also had COVID, I think, the lab test came out positive but nothing else did. Like all the rapid and home tests were negative even when I was suppose to be positive. I think I had a corona virus but not that one. Either way we check off the I had COVID box and leave it at that. I am better now and no lasting issue, now it’s allergies because Spring is fun.
So far this year I have read ONE book, you read that right…ONE BOOK! I am working on number 2 now. Hoping both the reading and blogging energy will come back soon but just have so much going on it’s hard. I miss it but just can’t seem to find time to squeeze it in but I am trying.
Read & Currently Reading:
Legends and Lattes is super cute, I am really enjoying it so far. I am hoping to be finished with it this week.

Sounds like you had a busy period. I hope your daughter’s new gym is better for cheer, sorry to hear their previous gym was so toxic.
I am glad to hear you’re doing better after the Covid. I got it last year and was pretty sick for a week and then tired for a few more weeks. Sorry to hear about your allergies now acting up :(.
I hope the new person at your work gets better. Good to hear you’re still enjoying your work even with how busy it has been.
I hope things calm down for you soon and you can get into more reading again. Sorry I haven’t stopped by as much lately, I missed chatting with you. Have a great week!
Oof I’m sorry about Covid 🙁
If you manage to get it together, please send some of that energy my way lol

So sorry about Covid! I finally got it in February (or it finally got me) after avoiding it up till then. It wasn’t fun but thankfully not too bad. Glad to hear you’re feeling better just in time for allergies! I hope the new cheer gym is a better environment. They can get so toxic and just awful. I hope you’re able to get a moment or two of calm (or if not at least a bit of fun) this week.
So sorry to hear you had Covid. I hope you’re feeling better.
yeah there’s too much going on and then just when I think I might get to finish up a project something happens like Lulu’s injury. I MUST fit in doing our taxes this week. At least I’m on track with blog posts. So I understand how it goes completely. I hope the new cheer camp is great for Julia.

So excited to see your post, I always look…lol. Hope Julia’s new gym goes good for her. I read Camp Scare and thought it was okay. So far out of the two I have read from this author MINE was my favorite.
I will need to look up Mine.
I try to come back every week but life is busy. I’m hoping soon I’ll be back full time. 🙂
