Week in READview:

Real life:

So I had plans this week, like lots of them then I got a pain in my neck which I was hoping was a stiff neck but NOPE it was a pinched nerve that starts at the base of my head, down my neck and explodes into my back. The most painful 4 days of my life and I’m still sadly in a lot of pain. I attempted the 24 Hour readathon but didn’t get very far since the meds kept knocking me out and it was hard to get comfortable. So this week I have been basically useless.

I might not be able to comment to much this week and apologize for anyone that visited that I wasn’t able to comment back. I just can’t sit by the computer for long. I will try to catch up this week if I am better. 🙂

Blogging & Reading:

I spent a lot of time just laying around so I had some time to read a little. I got back into the steamy books, probably because they are short and to the point! 🙂 I will have the reviews for those in the next few weeks they have a few more in the series and think I will pick another one of her series for the Can you read a series in a Month Challenge. You still have plenty of time to sign up.

(Read, Currently Reading & Next)

What I grabbed:

I didn’t grab anything this week since I haven’t been able to sit by the computer at all.

On the Blog:

  1. Oh dear, I hope you are doing better today Michelle. Nothing worse than back and/or neck pain. Take care of yourself.

  2. Oh that sounds awful! I’ve never had a pinched nerve but I have a neck injury from a car accident years and years ago and I know how badly neck pain throws everything off. I can see why you didn’t get as much reading done as you had hoped. I hope you’re feeling better and having a wonderful week!

  3. Oh no! I hope you are feeling better! My mom also did something to her back, and she was trouble waking for a couple days. I am planning on signing up for Can You Read A Series in a month? I’m just not sure what series I want to tackle just yet.

  4. Oh, Michelle! I am so sorry to hear you are in pain. I hope it subsides soon. That really stinks and hampers so much of what you can do. Even the simple things. Steamy books sound nice. I was thinking I might need to dive into a few of those to help me forget my work woes. I hope you have a better week this week!

  5. Y’ouch, Michelle! My hubby gets pinched nerves in his back like that and it’s miserable just watching him cope. Hope that sorts out soon for you.

Fun that you’re on a role with Madison’s books.

    Have a better week!

    • It has been really no fun at all and we have about two weeks before Florida so now I am in a mad dash to try to get stuff done since I have been laid up for 5 days.
I am LOVING her books, they are so fun and really just out there. Exactly what I was looking for! 🙂

    • I am getting there, it’s not as bad as it was. 🙂 So glad you will be joining us! I need to write our posts soon! lol

    • If it was just in my neck I think I could deal but when it explodes into my back it’s unbearable!
I’m almost back to normal. Thanks Lindy!

  6. That sucks about the pinched nerve and it interrupting your readathon! You will have to do your own after you feel better. 🙂 Impromptu readathon! 🙂

Hope your neck feels better soon!!
    Have a great week!

    • I just said that to my husband. I am hoping to do the next 24 in 48, just so bummed I missed it but I only have two weeks before florida so I need to get this gone quick.

  7. I hope that your neck feels better soon and that you can enjoy all of your books. I love your Sunday Post graphic. Have a great week!

    • Thank you! So far the books are keeping me sane as I lay in bed.
Thank you so much! I am a graphic designer so all the images on the blog I created. unless they are other peoples challenge logos.
