Week in READview:

Blogging & Reading:

I am switching my read to Potion Masters since I have to read it before next week. Nothing like waiting forever to read it. It is a fun read so I am not too worried about finishing it. It’s the last book in the series and I am so sad it will be over.

I am LOVING “There will come a darkness by Katy Rose Pool” and I am looking forward to getting back into it.

I am trying to keep up with the blog and so far after this weekend I should be about a week ahead. While I don’t have a lot of posts that I have planned. I am trying to come up with some fun stuff to do. One post that will be back this week is Task it Tuesday and I hope to have a binge watchers posts in the next week or so. The things I want to get more of is reviews, I don’t seem to have any of those lined up.

Real life:

I am sick, looks like I have the Rhinovirus again. It makes me cry to swallow and the cough is so annoying and makes me feel like I am dying. Thankfully I got some medicine from my doctor and hoping that by the end of today I am feeling better. I don’t want to take off work on Monday but will if I am still not feeling well.

Speaking of work, I got a raise. I almost fell off my chair. That is something that normally doesn’t happen so I was shocked. Sometimes my boss can be human and sometimes I can’t wait to leave.

This was a quiet week but with me being sick I didn’t get a lot done. I am off now to take a nap (it’s Saturday as I type this) I will be around to visit as much as I can but I will comment back if you leave a comment below.

On the Blog:

What you missed:

What you might see this week:

  • Task It Tuesday – New/Same Tasks for 2020
  • Potions Master Review

I might have one more but it will depend on how I feel.

Books:

(Read/Currently Reading/Next)

What I grabbed:

I actually bought a book this week only to realized it was the same book I am getting in my Owlcrate Box. So I have to return but I might wait to see what the cover looks like because sometimes the covers are different and if that is the case I might keep it. 🙂

I purchase another Owlcrate Jr Box because I got an email “Like millions of people around the world, we are devastated by the catastrophic wildfires burning across Australia. In support of those currently suffering, we will be donating 20% of all shop sales from shop.owlcrate.com to WIRES wildlife rescue.” I will share that also next weekend.

Challenges & Readathons:

Up above you can find these two challenges. Check out the details and I hope you will join us! 🙂 .

  1. Hope you feel better ASAP! I had a sore throat like that a couple months ago- swallowing was awful- so I feel your pain. although mine didn’t last long thank goodness, I dreaded swallowing and didn’t eat. That’s a horrible feeling when you can’t even swallow!

    And yay for the raise!!!

Hope your week is awesome and sickness free.

    • Thanks Greg! The pharmacy recommended Cepacol and I might use them forever. While it makes your entire mouth numb it doesn’t hurt to swallow 🙂 lol

  2. Sorry to hear that you have gone down with such a nasty illness and I hope you feel a lot better really soon, Michelle – and huge congratulations on getting a raise. It’s a good time of year to get an injection of cash!

  3. I am sorry to hear your caught that Rhinovirus again. I hope you feel better soon and that the medicines you got help. That’s awesome you got a raise!

And yay for being ahead a bit with your blogging :). The problem with reviews is that you have to read the books first and enough of them to get the reviews done. Sometimes it helps to get some shorter reads?

That Potion Master book looks fun! I hope you have a great week!
