Week in READview:

On & Off the Blog:

So if you saw the last time I was here, I mentioned a house were wanted that we were going to see. It was exactly what we wanted. I walked in and fell instantly in love and also realized it would be WAY out of our price range since the house already had 3 families that had seen it before us and more were coming after. That was a two days before the open house. We put in our bid and went and looked for something else. It was a colonial style house, older and I LOVED it! Welp….we got the house! I don’t know how but we are so excited and hoping to be moved in the first or second week on December. I am beyond excited and so nervous. Work is still super stressful but I am hoping once the house situation is behind us I can focus more on getting a better handle of work or looking for something less stressful.

We are packing, I packed two small boxes of just Manga and now working on the books, we might need to order more boxes once I am done. Just seems like a lot of packing, I am exhausted just thinking about it. lol

Still behind on everything so if I owe you something, I promise I am doing it. Just working on my back stuff first.

My daughter has her first comp soon which is in Kentucky so that will be a fun ride It is going to just be me and her driving. It should be an adventure since all crazy things happen when her and I are going someplace together.

Read & Currently Reading:

Since I am packing the physical books, I will be reading ebooks until we unpack the boxes

What I grabbed this week:

Took a trip to B&N

What I am watching:

I have been binge watching the Twilight Zone, I also started to watch Christmas Movies on Hallmark, plus Netflix just released season 4 and 5 of Faceoff. I would love to have the entire series but for now it is only the two season.

  1. Congratulations again on getting the house you want! That is so exciting! And do NOT worry about making anything for my blog right now! We’ll do something in the new year like for Valentine’s day or something instead and next year I’ll have you do a Thanksgiving one. Moving takes precedence! Getting the exact house you want is like a miracle these days. Have a good week!

  2. That’s great you got the house. It’s not the easiest time to move. Moving is a good time to sort and throw but I always seem to end up doing it more with unpacking because there is never enough time. Hopefully you have 3 others in your house who can do some packing, too. I’m so glad to see you here with all you have happening. How is the location of the new home for your work and school etc.

  3. I am so happy for you that you got the house, that’s such an awesome surprise after you assumed you wouldn’t get it. Hopefully the move goes smoothly and things will calm down a bit for you.

  4. Ooh congrats on your house find! I’m still looking for a home of my own as well! It’s a stressful process. I do have a jump start on some of my packing though since when I moved with my parents to their new home I packed up all my books and whatever was “read” I moved into a storage unit along with a few other things I didn’t need. So I’ll still have a lot to pack but not nearly as much! Lol.

Nice new reads! Liking the looks of the Holiday Horror anthology! That sounds fun! Hope you enjoy your new reads and the upcoming roadtrip! I’ve had a few of those myself these last few weeks, so I am looking forward to nothing for a bit! Lol.

    Have a GREAT day!
