So you will never guess what happened this week.
My Facebook page officially hit 500 LIKES!!!!
I am so excited, yes I know it’s not as much as most of the book bloggers but for me I am ecstatic. When I started this blog I never thought I would get that many followers. I’m sure it was from a giveaway entry I put my name into 😉 but regardless I am very happy about it hoping the new people that followed will become regulars on my page or my blog.
So this week I am going to do a Giveaway for all my awesome new likers who apparently also like giveaways 🙂 entries will be so easy it’s like I am giving it away.
I would love to giveaway a book but I think I will giveaway a $10 egift card to Amazon or Barnes & Noble. They seem to be the easiest and you can get whatever book you want on your ever-growing TBR list. 😉
I also had something else very excited that happened but I can’t say anything yet but it totally made my year. Keep an eye on my Twitter and Facebook pages I will be announcing it there.
So these are the three books I have read this week
I really enjoyed them all it was a VERY good book reading week
These are the books I am going to read next they are for a tour
I think I am going to get my read and reviews done for Tours coming up then spend the rest of Aug/September reading books I have from Netgalley. I also have a couple of series books to get to. I’m hoping I can read them all before October.
I am hoping to have a few reviews posted in the next 2 weeks.
Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight and The Clockwork Scarab but I’m still working on them.
Working it Out and American Girl on Saturn are for blog tours so I can’t post the review yet. Working it out was such a great book and American Girl on Saturn was Fantastic I LOVED it.
In other News…
It was my first week back to work after my “vacation” and it was one crazy week.
My boss is away so the guy in charge is about ready to fall apart and I’m ready to beat him up. It’s only been a week and I’m not sure how much more I can take 🙂 God help us, my boss doesn’t come back until Sept 1.
Went to the shore this weekend and enjoyed a nice day in Smithville, NJ such a cute place with super cute stores. It’ like a small little colonial village. The stores sell mostly handmade stuff, they have bed and breakfasts everywhere and the restaurants have super yummy food. The kids liked it but I think they would have preferred going to the boardwalk. For me it’s was a nice change of pace and very quiet.
Now I am off to sit with the family and enjoy an evening of WWE Summer Slam. My son is so excited and I am excited to be able to watch it as a family, so fun.
Also just a note; the next two weekends there will be no week in READ-view (I know, I know, you are all upset and I don’t blame you) 🙂 if I can get one posted next Sunday I will otherwise my next post will be on Sept 8th and I can tell you all about how my first day of school went. I’m so excited and nervous!!!
So until next time
Have a great week
