Blog News:
I am a bit late writing this post, so I am hoping it wont be riddled with more errors than usual. It’s odd that I am so late with it since I have had a very quite week and weekend just a lot of real life stress but I managed to finish one book, read another and start a new one.
I am participating in Bout of Books this week and I’m not sure I am doing it the right way. I have seen others update during the week of progress and stuff but I didn’t know you were suppose to do that and I didn’t but this is my first Read-a-thon so I will get it eventually. I also missed TWO twitter parties one for Bout of Books and one for Clean Sweep ARC Challenge (made it at the end) I am so bummed I missed it. Trying so hard to chat with fellow bloggers but I always seem to never know just how to do that. It’s nice to have a bunch of blogger friends to chat books with just need to get some 🙂 because I think I might be driving Kim (Berls) crazy 😉
Speaking of Kim, She and I have let COYER go on Summer Vacation and OMG I can’t wait for you all to see what we have planned, If you love participating in COYER you are going to love it on vacation. I am now reading With Every Breath (Sea Swept #2) by Valerie Chase I am hoping to be done with this to add to Bout of Books.
I am Listening to Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi I’m not liking it at the moment

Amazon Freebies
If you haven’t been on Amazon in the last couple of days you might want to a LOT of box sets are on sale or at least they were. A bunch of freebies and .99. I didn’t have time to scope them all out and I might be to late to look at anymore but it’s worth a peek if you have time. This was all I was able to get but I plan to go back and see what other ones I want.
What else is going on?
Just a lot of stress, things are about to change and I will be able to talk about it in June (or next post, it depends). We originally thought things would work but we hit a snag and it was what I was worried about but I have been putting on a happy face and move through the days with as much positivity as I can but I am starting to lose hope. If it wasn’t for this blog and reading I would be a complete mess. Please don’t think I am looking for sympathy because I am not, I am the type of person that takes each day as it comes and just hopes for the best and if it doesn’t work out today there is always tomorrow to try again. I also realize it could be a lot worse and there are people in this world that are worse off than me. So like always I will take it day-to-day and just make the best of what we have and what life throws at us. I am ALWAYS up for a challenge 🙂
I FINALLY went to the ENT and I have Chronic Sinusitis and a bunch of Polyps in my nose/sinus. So I am on some steroids and antibiotics to see if they will go away and in 3 weeks I need a CT Scan to see what else is going on. Will the FUN EVER END!!! and the worst part of these meds is I wont be able to drink on my BIRTHDAY!!! The steroids I have to be on for two weeks and my birthday is the 28th of May so no celebrating my Mile stone birthday (I will be 40) with couple drinks, but on May 31st I will be drinking an entire bottle of wine to make up for it 🙂
This weekend is Memorial weekend and I will be away the entire weekend for my husbands birthday (25th) and we have a BBQ on Sunday for Mine and his Birthdays/Memorial Day. So I might not have a post up until the next weekend which I will have tons to tell you since I will be going to BEA on the 30th. I am still so bummed I didn’t do the entire week but I am doing it next year for sure. So if you are going to be there on Friday the 30th let me know maybe we can meet up to say hello 🙂

You do have a lot going on… and I’m more nosey than anything 🙂 And of course you can ‘load off’ to your bookish friends ever now and again, that’s what a great community like this is here for.
I’ve lived with chronic rhinitis for over 20 years now…. sinusitis is I think more unpleasant. I’ve just got a chronically blocked nose and ever now and again it flares up, and quite often I have to breathe through the mouth. but hey, there is worse out there!
You saying that you’re not sure if you are doing the Read-a-thon right made me smile, because that’s how I would be… I usually don’t often take part in stuff like that, because I can’t promise I can post every day etc due to life’s little stresses.

Your new review books look good, especially the ones by H. B. Bolton. I’ve not heard of the author, but the covers are enticing – they look like MG or YA fantasy (and sure enough, when I checked Goodreads, I was right!) I can’t wait to see what you think of them.

I am always missing the twitter chats. Though I will say that the one for Bout of Books goes by so fast, I don’t even think anyone sees what I say. The Clean Sweep ARC one was pretty fun. Glad you made it! There really is no wrong or right way to put updates for Bout of Books. I only do one post and constantly update that one post throughout the week. Others post a new post all week long. It’s up to you… just have fun really.
First, I hope the medicine works and you have an awesome birthday and time at BEA.
Second, I loved wish you were italian too. Total cuteness. How is With Every Breath? I have that one coming up for review and I really, really enjoyed the first book.

I make it LOOK like I am so organized maybe the blog a lot more than real life, I realize you can’t organize chaos lol. I realized the other day that some series I will just never get to if I want to actually read them but if I listen to them i might be able to get throught an entire series and still keep up with books I want to read.
That cover for Cinderella’s Dress is amazing! I’ve heard from some readers that they didn’t like Shatter Me on audio; I read the ebook and was blown away at it’s awesomeness. I also have the Kiss of Deception ARC, and I really want to read it!

That’s nice you still got some reading done even though it was a stressful week. i am still reading the same book I started on thuesday, but then again de to watching star wars in the evenings and having two D&D sessions this week i didn’t have much time to read.
I am hoping to be able to participate in the Coyer summer vacation, it sounds like you’re putting a lot of work in it. And I am also looking forward to see what you’ve planned for your To-be read list feature!
