WIR vectorstock_43821-1-1Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Itโ€™s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Real Life & Blog News:

Well on Sunday I took a trip to the hospital to have them check out my finger and of course it was not sprained it was actually broken ๐Ÿ™ the said the middle knuckle was cracked so my husband officially broke my finger!!! He owes me BIG time ๐Ÿ˜‰

IMG_2333and it has this really pretty shade of purples, reds, blues and blacks ๐Ÿ™‚

IMG_2336So this week was so much fun trying to do stuff with only one hand, thank the lord in heaven it wasn’t my left hand otherwise I wouldn’t be able to do anything. It is very uncomfortable and it doesn’t hurt that much so that’s a a good thing ๐Ÿ™‚ This weekend is our 12 year Anniversary and I told my husband I wanted a nice quiet dinner just us at my favorite place to eat (Spuntino’s) that he isn’t really a fan of, he can’t say no really because HE BROKE MY FINGER!!! lol I still can’t believe he broke it. He feels so bad but I can’t help but poke fun anyway ๐Ÿ™‚

As for blogging I am pretty much ahead, I was going to post a Top Ten this week and realized I set up the wrong one so now I have to wait till next week but I am hoping to post my first scary October post this week that will also introduce the new feature on my blog. Super excited about it since I have been teasing the last couple of week. It will be done this weekend so look for it this week.

I had an amazing reading week (can’t really do much with a broken finger but read lol) I finished the book I was reading for the tour, 2 novellas, two books and on a new one now. This has been my most productive reading week in a long time. My I should break my finger more often…. wait…No..nevermind ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. I have thankfully never broken a finger. I did break some toes and the pain was unreal. I’ve had 2 children and smashed my ankle and I still think the toe breaking wins. So yeah I think you deserve a little reading time and getting to pick the restaurant! Have a great week and try not to break anything else!

  2. I hope your finger is starting to feel better. I want to read Creed and that reminds me that I think I have that one..going to have to look at my ebooks and see. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think I am going to try and join you on your not requesting books until Jan. because I really need to not be getting anything (unless it’s the next in a series). I really need to raise my netgalley percentage and catch up on my Edelweiss really badly. ๐Ÿ™‚ The one book I got this week from Edelweiss was one I requested a while back and just thought I wasn’t going to get it and then..surprise..lol.

    Have a great week!

  3. Happy Anniversary! I agree that you have the say of which restaurant to go since he did break your finger. Even with your injury you still had a productive week (more than I was able to do with healthy hands lol). I hope you feel better and have a great week!

You will be able to use this for a long, long time. As in, \”I should never have to do dishes again because you broke my finger.\” And, \”I should have breakfast in bed every day because….\” And, \”I should get an Amazon order in the mail each week because….\” Anything you want.

    • If I say Honey can you help me be better be ready to help me for a LONG TIME lol ๐Ÿ™‚
I really liked Ice Massacre, it was a little slow in the middle but I really loved the end and looking forward to the next one. Murder of Magpies is pretty good so far but I am only at the begininng it sounds insteresting ๐Ÿ™‚

      Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Oh, wow, so sorry about the finger! Isn’t it funny that, even when we are in excruciating pain, we try to convince ourselves that it’s only a sprain…LOL. Here’s to happy healing and soon.

Love the look of A Murder of Magpies…thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.

  6. A broken finger sounds nasty! I can understand you want to poke fun at your husband for that, I can’t believe he actually broke your finger, lol. And indeed it’s a good thing this wasn’t your good hand, else you wouldn’t be able to do anything. I hope your finger recovers nicely, although yay for having much reading time this week :).

I am looking forward to your new feature preview! And isn’t it a great feeling to have some posts scheduled in advance? I love it when I check the post section in my dashboard and see all those pre-scheduled posts there.

    • I can’t believe he broke it either lol. It’s drving me crazy because I was hoping ti would be better by now, not take 4 to 6 weeks lol

OMG I love being ahead and I plan to spend the rest of this week finish uo a bunch of stuff that needs to be scheduled for the next couple of months. Now I have a few more things I want to try doing and I feel like I have the freedom to do that and read.
