WIR vectorstock_43821-1-1(The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  It’s a chance to share news.  A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.)

Blog News:

I have been trying to get as much done on the blog as possible. So I’m so sorry if I didn’t get a chance to visit anyone this week. I have been crazy productive, even wrote a bunch of posts for this week and now just have 3 reviews to finish. I almost feel ahead…. almost 🙂

Bloggiesta started on Thursday and my major goal is to fix all the reviews that got messed up from the switch from blogger to wordpress. Good gravy, this is a lot harder then I thought it would be. I am trying to get all the reviews in the UBB and make the posts look at lot better then they do right now. I figured I would try to do at least 2/3 months done a day and then after Bloggiesta is over I will only have a few months left. I also want to try to fix my Review Index but happily the UBB plugin makes that easy since it’s doing it all by itself, Yay!!! That is pretty much all I really wanted to accomplish this time, I have other stuff I want to do but I think I want to try and reorganize the blog and myself in the next couple of weeks. Make things much better and try some new things 🙂

WordPress updated there security this week not sure if anyone else updated to itheme security. It looks amazing but wow it’s really confusing. I will slowly try and do the recommendations they suggest but I am so scared I am going to mess something up. Has anyone else updated? What do you think, any suggestions to what I should or shouldn’t do?

If you are a fan of My To-Be Read List post you will noticed yesterday I posted an update about it, I love that post but I think it needs a makeover so I am putting it on Hiatus for a couple weeks until I can work out all the details of what I want to do, I nice reboot.

Saturday ~ #COYER has come to an end 🙁

What I read, currently reading and going to read.

I finished After the End

when I am finished being pissed off at the end of that book I will write the review.

I am currently reading Of Monster and Madness

But I will have to put it aside if I don’t finish it by tomorrow so I can get into reading Understudy for the blog tour on Friday, so excited to read this one.

Books I received, downloaded and added.

This week I was a VERY bad girl. I found a few Amazon Freebies, Reviews and Netgalley reads.

You might have noticed Stiltskin on my list of books again. I originally thought I had downloaded it from Netgalley but I must have missed it and when I went back to download it it was already archived. I left a note on the feedback saying what happened because I figured at least they didn’t think I was a jerk and didn’t review the book on purpose. Yesterday I got an email from the publisher asking if I was still interested in reading it and they send me an e-copy, I was rather excited about it 🙂

What else is going on?

It’s been a very busy weekend of birthday parties, family visits and being lazy (I’m just kidding or not). It did rain all weekend so we couldn’t go outside and enjoy the nice weather that we had since Friday but I am not complaining because at least it isn’t snow. I honestly felt like it was never going to stop. From what I understand we are done with snow until hopefully winter because if it snows in July I’m going to be totally pissed off 😉

If you get a chance stop by for a chance to win a set of her books  The Savannah Shadows Series

    • Of course it rained again today but it’s suppose to be nice the rest of the week, YAY!! Wish you where Italian I can’t wait to read I couldn’t resist the cute synopsis 🙂

Oy sounds like a busy time with the blog. I haven’t made the switch to wordpress yet because of that. I know I would have to dedicate time to fix everything. One of these days.

    • I wish I would have done it soon lol since now I have so much to do 🙂 but I got a lot done and plan to finish maybe a 2 months each week. It’s a great feeling!!!

  2. Oh my, not that I’m contemplating moving to WordPress at this stage, but I know I couldn’t cope, would need a few weeks off work for that. Your blog does look fab though and so many bloggers are saying it is worth at the end *sigh*.
Now I’m curious about your review of After The End …. haven’t read it, but what did piss you off lol.

    • Thank you 🙂 It wasn’t really a bad switch with went nice and smooth, the only problem was the posts and if you are OCD like me it might be a bother but otherwise most people just leave it 🙂

  3. Sounds like bloggiesta was productive for you. I’ve thought about switching to WP at some point, but the transition seems like kind of a pain so that holds me back a bit. I’m sure it’s worth it in the end if you know what you’re doing (which I probably wouldn’t!). 🙂

I’m curious about After The End and your comment about the conclusion of it has me wondering, will look forward to your review!

I love the cover for Stiltskin!

Good luck with the post formatting. That seems like a huge process and a daunting one but it sounds like you have it in order.

  5. Re-formatting old posts that got messed up in the switch to wordpress is really annoying andit takes so much time, but it’s worth it in the end. I only changed my review posts so far, I am still not sure whether I’ll be changing my other posts as well or to just leave them like this.

I did the update for Itheme security, but I am not using it anymore (I deactivated it some time ago). You have to be really carefull what you do change or click on, as it can mess up your other working plugins. When I forst installed wordpress I installed that plugin and went happy clicking and changing and then it was so messed up I didn’t know how to fic it and eventually de-installed wordpress and installed it anew. So yeah be carefull with that plugin, I am sure some of their suggestions are great, but I just don’t dare use it anymore in case I mess up again.

I love the cover of After the End, but I don’t think it’s a book for me. Now I am wondering what happened at the end to make you so pissed.

You got some nice looking new books this weeks. Falling from the Sky has been on my to-read list since I saw it one some blogs a few weeks ago. I read Hopeless back when it was just released (I still haven’t read any of the author’s other books though) and I think it’s awesome it was free this week. I hope you enjoy it! I really like the cover of Kiss of Deception.

    • iTheme is actually getting on my nerves because they keep sending me emails about who is trying to get into my wordpress account but I get 3 a day and it freaks me out. What security do you use now? I originally installed WP Better Security but that was what Itheme has become so I will have to look around.

UGH After the End, it was so cute and funny, I didn’t realize how funny it was going to be and then UGH the end lol to frustrating. It’s worth a read if you don’t mind being all pissed off when its over.

Falling From the Sky is written by one of my fav authors. I LOVE her and she is such a sweet heart. I have never read a LGBT before so this will be my first and she writes the most amazing characters so I know it will love it!!!

BTW I still haven’t updated the theme yet. I might do it tonight

      • Just make sure you backup your changes in the theme option panel and have a backup of your site just in case. But with me the theme updated went without a hitch. I was worried something went wrong, but all the changed where saved and stayed there.

I’ll tweet you the list of the security plugins I am using.
