Michelle’s Pick
I got the first book in this series from Brandee at unconventional bookworms for my secret santa gift. A couple months ago the entire series went on sale on Amazon in ebook format so I decided to grab them all (even the first book again). I don’t mind having it on my shelf and on my kindle. Plus I love that I can keep my gift in perfect condition and cherisher it always.
So my series is….
These covers are STUNNING! If I do love this series, I will probably by the last two books so I can keep them on my bookshelf. I can’t wait to read this series!!! 🙂
Berls’ Pick
OMG I had such a hard time picking a series. Normally, I have no problem as there are dozens of series that I want to read and binge. But rght now, life really isn’t affording me the same reading time that it used to. I’m home with Dante, trying to juggle childcare and a 40 hour work week. And losing my commute – rather than affording me more time has cost me a good 1/1.5 hours of reading time every day on audio. And I’m just plain distracted. So I didn’t want to commit to anything too lengthy. And I don’t want to spend money right now.
That being said, I FINALLY picked a series after browsing Audible Escape. It’s only 3 books, which is about what I think I can handle right now. And it looks like humor during an apocalyptic situation, just what I need. So here’s my pick:
Looks fun, right? The series is called Living with the Dead and I’m not sure if it’s a trilogy or just these three books are out so far, but either way, I’m looking forward to it.
Ooh yay! I can’t wait to see what you both think of your series! You can do it! Linda and I are joining in the fun – and buddy reading. 😉
Oooh, I need to join this for May! Last year, I read Kalayna Price’s Grave Witch series and complete all 6 in the month… Don’t know what I’ll choose this time around.
That said, I just binged a 6 book series this WEEK because I got addicted and had the time, lol, so maybe I’ve burned myself out?
Nice choices. I’m especially drawn to the zombies series. For some reason, I;m drawn to zombie stories in the summer. LOL
LOL that’s funny! I wonder what it is about zombies and summer? Because, yeah, that’s when I’m most drawn to them too!
Both sound good. I have that trio on my Kindle, too, Michelle. Oh man, the zombies sound fun, Berls.
I think so too! And I need a fun escape right now!
Interesting! I look forward to seeing how you like them. I picked my series and will do a post on the 26th. Happy reading!
Both your series look great! I have actually read the first Falconer book and it’s cliffy so good thing you got all of them! Then I just forgot about it, so interested in seeing what you think of the trilogy!
I can’t wait to hear how you like these books! I’ve had the first in the series forever and haven’t read it!
