Did you know there was a Just Because Day? Like to celebrate or have a party just because? So lets do a giveaway!
Happy National Just Because Day!!!
So I decided since I am on a proper romance kick and Shadow Mountain Publishing gave me one of my favorite book to give away I would have a Just Because Giveaway today.
Today I am giving away an amazing Fairytale retelling of Beauty and the Best with a bit of steampunk and a lot of sass.
Beauty and the Clockwork Beast (Steampunk Proper Romance #1)
by Nancy Campbell Allen
Paperback, 318 pages
Published August 2nd 2016 by Shadow Mountain
Jane Eyre meets Beauty and the Beast.
When Lucy Pickett arrives at Blackwell Manor to tend to her ailing cousin, Kate, she finds more than she bargained for. A restless ghost roams the hallways, werewolves have been reported in the area, and vampires lurk across the Scottish border. Lord Miles himself is clearly hiding a secret. He is brash and inhospitable, and does not take kindly to visitors—even one as smart and attractive as Miss Pickett. He is unsettled by the mysterious deaths of his new wife, Clara, and his sister, Marie. Working together, Miles and Lucy attempt to restore peace to Blackwell Manor. But can Lucy solve the mystery of Miles? Can she love the man—beast and all?

I have always loved a bit of steampunk in my stories and this was just enough to satisfy my taste for it with just a sweet romance to go along with it. Besides Steampunk you also get a big of paranormal and shifting. I thought this book was so well done and the story was amazing. The build up was slow but definitely need to give the suspense and romance time to grow. I am looking forward to more books from this author and am very excited to be giving it away to one very luck person. So please enter below and GOOD LUCK!
Thanks for hosting! I’ve been wanting to read this one. 🙂 XO – Alexandra
