I’m ready for a few challenges! 2017 Challenge Sign Up/Goal Post…

Posted December 30, 2016 by Michelle in Challenges and Readathons / 9 Comments

I have decided to gather all the challenges I want to do this year into one post. I am keeping it simple and already am doing the 2017 Reading Assignment Challenge and the 2017 Bookish Resolutions Challenge.

These are the other challenges I will be doing this year and the goals for each challenge…

2017 Blogger Shame Challenge

If you’ve been blogging for a while chances are you have a few (or more than a few lol) review books that have slipped through the cracks. Eeps! The Blogger Shame Review Challenge–co-hosted by herding cats & burning soup and Addicted to Happily Ever After– is all about dusting off all of those forgotten review books and making them happen! You can find all the rules and to sign up HERE

I have been a bad girl when it comes to Edelweiss and have a lot of books that I just didn’t read when I was suppose too. So my goal for this challenge is to read half of the books I have on Edelweiss so my goal will be

15 books

2017 Pick your Genre Challenge

Welcome to the 2017 Pick Your Genre Challenge
This challenge is about diving into specific genres/sub genres you love or just want to check out in 2017

You get to pick your genre. For example…
Sue might pick contemporary romance, Joan might pick urban fantasy, etc

You pick the number of books above that you’d like to read. 12 book minimum.
Ex– If I pick Contemporary and Erotic I’ll need to read 24 total books…12 for each.

You can find all the complete rules and Sign Up HERE

I am actually very excited about this one and since I plan to dive into steamy books this year,
I thought this is the perfect way to get those juicy/steamy stories read

I will be reading the Genre of Romance: Contemporary/NA

2017 New Release Challenge

Read books that have been released and reviewed in 2017.

You can find all the rules and sign up HERE

I did really good with this last year reading 44 new release books. So this year I am going to stay in the same range but set my goal to read about

31-60 books per year – New Release Pro

2017 Netgalley & Edelweiss Challenge

Have you ever logged on to Edelweiss or Netgalley with the intention of “Just Looking” and then logged off having requested 5 new titles even though your TBR is a mile long? This challenge will (hopefully) give you the incentive to tackle your review books, stumble upon new ones, and get your Netgalley percentage to the desired 80%!

You can find all the rules and sign up HERE

I did amazing with this last year and read almost all of my books on Netgalley…I think I have 6 books left. So I want to finish off those and also tackle that dreaded Edelweiss list of ARCs that have not been read.

My goal for this challenge is Silver – 25 Books

Contemporary Romance Reading Challenge

he goal is to read as many Contemporary Romance books as you’d like. See the different levels below and pick the one that works best for you. You can move up a level as often as you’d like but no moving down. Remember, the idea is to challenge yourself.

You can find all the rules and sign up HERE

I think I will be going to have a Home Run: read 16 – 20 books

  1. Good luck with all your challenges! I am only joining Coyer and the 2017 New Release Challenge this year. Although i do hope to get my netgalley percentage up as well. I’ve been trying and failing to get it over the 70% for a year now. I did the Pick Your Genre this year and it was a fun one.
