Each month you will make a post with three books from your TBR List (these books can be already on your kindle or shelf or books you might want to purchase) and add your link on the linky that will be provided on my post. Your followers and the people on the linky will help you choose which book you will read next. The following Saturday you will announce the book that won. Then read the book and on the last Saturday of the month post a review. MY TBR List is hosted by Michelle (Because Reading) so be sure to stop by her post to link up and vote for everyone!
For 2021, my goal is to read 12 freebies/nearly freebies that I’ve purchased over the years. And I’m letting y’all pick them by returning to My TBR List. I haven’t done this since 2017 and I’m excited to return. I’m continuing to bring back books that lost in previous months… lets’ see who wins this time!
My TBR List Choices: October 2021
This one has sat on the list since January! I’m starting to think it may never win…
In Flight (Up in the Air, #1) by R.K. LilleyPublished by R.K. Lilley on October 20, 2012
Pages: 330
Goodreads
When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can't seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it.
Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man, Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.
New to to the list in June – a book I know I bought because I loved the cover. This has happened quite a lot lol!

Infinite possibilities….Infinite passion…..Infinite danger….
His touch spirals through me, warm and sweet, wicked and hot. I shouldn’t trust him. I shouldn’t tell him my secrets. But how do I not when he is the reason I breathe? He is what I need.
At the young age of eighteen, tragedy and a dark secret force Lara to flee all she has known and loves to start a new life. Now years later, with a new identity as Amy, she’s finally dared to believe she is forgotten–even if she cannot forget. But just when she lets down her guard, the ghosts of her past are quick to punish her, forcing her back on the run.
On a plane, struggling to face the devastation of losing everything again and starting over, Amy meets Liam Stone, a darkly entrancing recluse billionaire, who is also a brilliant, and famous, prodigy architect. A man who knows what he wants and goes after it. And what he wants is Amy. Refusing to take “no” as an answer, he sweeps her into a passionate affair, pushing her to her erotic limits. He wants to possess her. He makes her want to be possessed. Liam demands everything from her, accepting nothing less. But what if she is too devastated by tragedy to know when he wants more than she should give? And what if there is more to Liam than meets the eyes?
I very carefully reviewed my oldest freebies and narrowed down to a few that were in that 150-250 page length (I’m a slow reader and won’t have a ton of time to read this). When I was down to like 3 books, I saw that Lillian had read and liked this book, so it made it onto my October list.

A shifter made of stone. And wings.A human bent on free love. And drunk.Any joke could be made with those two lines.
But the town of Woodland Creek, it's no laughing matter. Hostile and magical residents guard their secrets. It's too easy to be found out.
When Isaac Stone first meets Kennedy Kirk, he's tempted to shove her off the clock tower. After all, she is gripping his private parts to lean over and see his town. One little push is all it would take...
Isaac never anticipated he'd be the one to fall.
**THIS IS A 35,000 WORD NOVELLA**
Now Vote!! Which of my October 2021 choices do you think I should read?
Gargoyle seems more spooky. As freebies, you could link these up with my Thrifty Thursday posts. 🙂
Gargoyle..cover for the win, plus I love Gargoyles.
Ooo! Gargoyle gets my vote just because of the title. LOL It sounds good too though. I hope you enjoy whichever wins, Berls!
