Spring Reportcard & Summer Registration #2020HW

Posted April 23, 2020 by Berls in Reading Assignment Challenge (HW) / 4 Comments

Before I get going, if you want to join in and need details, head over to our Summer Registration post!

So technically my spring report card isn’t due until after the first week of May, but I’m doing it now because y’all… for once, I’ve killed it! I was signed up for AuthorLuv Beginner Class – where I would read at least 1 book a month by Patricia Briggs. Well I did way more than that, as I have been binge reading the Mercy Thompson Universe. Here’s how I did:

  • January:
    • Moon Called (Mercy #1)
    • Alpha & Omega (Alpha & Omega #0.5)
  • February
    • Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega #1)
    • Hunting Ground (Alpha & Omega #2)
    • Blood Bound (Mercy #2)
    • Iron Kissed (Mercy #3)
    • Bone Crossed (Mercy #4)
    • Silver Borne (Mercy #5)
  • March
    • River Marked (Mercy #6)
    • Fair Game (Alpha & Omega #3)
    • Frost Burned (Mercy #7)
    • Dead Heat (Alpha & Omega #4)
    • Night Broken (Mercy #8)
    • Shifting Shadows (collection of short stories – I was reading it all along, but finished it in March)
    • Fire Touched (Mercy #9)
  • April
    • Silence Fallen (Mercy #10)

So yeah, I met my goal and then some!!! I haven’t finished the series yet, though. I only have 5 books left (4 published, 1 coming in 2021) to be current. But that’s the perfect number to finish out my summer registration. I’m thinking that if I get ahead, there are other Patricia Briggs books that I own and would like to read. So…

My summer registration is once again Professor AuthorLuv Beginner Level. I will read at least one book by Patricia Briggs in May, June, July, and August.

What about you? Are you registering for the summer semester? How’d you do in the Spring?

Berls actually made an A in the Spring semester and is all ready for summer! #2020hw Share on X

About Berls

Michelle adopted me as part of her blog when I decided to close down my blog, Fantasy is More Fun. The blog was dying, but my love of reading and the blogosphere was still strong as ever - so I found my new home here at Because Reading!

I'm not just a book lover, but a one time author (that hopes to be more in the future), wife, mom to the cutest, happiest, best 5 year old and step-mom to the craziest, sweetest 24 year old on the planet. My family mean everything to me and they appear frequently in the Sunday Post with Berls. So grab a glass of wine and chat books, blogging, and family with me!

  1. Woohoo! Way to go, Berls! That is the perfect series/world of books to catch fire reading over. I’m way behind you but doing Anne’s monthly readalong for the series, too.
