I’m enjoying this challenge it’s making me read these one’s that I’ve been wanting to try for so long.
Bummer about all those DNF’s. I hope the next book on your list is a good one.
I am bummed too, I didn’t think I would have so many DNF either, I have my fingers crossed this next one will be a good one.
I only got one of my two books for May finished – I *did* finish the second one yesterday though. So I still think I’m doing well. I’m sorry your May book was a DNF, Michelle. It stinks when you’re all excited about a book and it doesn’t live up to your expectations. Hopefully June’s book will be a winner. ๐
I got my four books read in May, too… now I have to stay on top of things for June… Too bad you’ve had some DNFs for this challenge, Michelle! I have noticed that I tend to DNF books a little easier than I used to, if I can’t get into the story/characters/plot before I reach the 30-40% mark, I just put the book down now.
Have a fantastic week, Michelle! Happy reading. *HUGS*
I’ve been going for four books a month, trying to whittle down my TBR. So far so good, but a little challenging!!
I read my 3 books for May! I’m so happy to get these off my Netgalley list! I’ll try to stick with my goal but it’s going to be tough with vacations and work.
Yes, as long as you have extra credits and a skip lets you should be fine but it will be hard with vacations for me too. Once my son comes home I hope things will be a little calmer but that could be a problem too.
I got mine read though just barely! I read Frenchman’s Creek by Daphne du Maurier which was a lot drier than I expected.
Oh No! But you got it done so YAY!!! lol
I am so failing this challenge. ๐ I did manage to get one of the two read this month but that still makes me three behind. ๐ ๐ Next time I am only doing one a month!
It’s ok, you can still see how many you can do by the end of the year. Maybe you can do the three you are behind as your TBR list book that way you kill two birds with one stone like I am doing this month ๐
Guess what? I read both my books this month! I still have to make up for April though…shh we wont talk about that for now ๐
LOL, this is why I only picked one ๐ but YAY! You finished ๐
