24 hour Dewey #Readathon End Post! Sorry so late, I was sleeping! Readathon

Dewey Readathon

I had to much fun during the readathon however I only lasted until 5am est. but that beats what I did last time staying away until 2am. Planning to do the entire 24 hours next time.

*high five to myself* for reading 3 books. I was so very proud, if I had stayed away I probably would have done 4 books but regardless that’s 3 books off my TBR List and One books away from reaching my Goodreads Goal.

I have some major plans for next time and a better updating post. Taking a bunch of breaks helped out so much this time around and doing a few 1 hour reading sprints by myself really got me through most of the books.

Thank you to Melanie and Carol for being my biggest cheerleaders. I couldn’t have lasted as long as I did without you awesome gives cheering me on. Thank you! <3

I really can’t wait for the next read-a-thon….I think I’m going to take a nap ๐Ÿ™‚

These are the books I read so far:

Charity Total:

The total I will be donating to the charity is $75.

  1. Good thing it only happens like twice a year or we wouldn’t make it…lol. Since I was sick and really didn’t make it very far I didn’t even do an end post…I think I made it through one graphic novel and bits and pieces of a couple a books. ๐Ÿ™‚ Stupid cold! ๐Ÿ™ It’s the hacking up a lung that is getting me down. ๐Ÿ™

You did awesome with three books..almost got your goodreads goal! You might need to up it next year. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. That’s great reading 3 books in one day, you definitely got a lot of reading done! I want to join once, maybe next time. Although I am not sure if I can manage to get anywhere close to the full 24-hour, I need my sleep too much.

    • I was so happy about it. That is the one reason I love the readathon, I really wish I could do that normally. I probably could if I really tried. You should try joining you don’t have to last the entire 24 even just the day until you go to sleep would be cool, lots of people do that. It’s just an excuse to read all day with no interruption.
