APP #Reviews ~ Lost Within

Posted October 24, 2015 by Michelle in App Review / 1 Comment

reviewing AppsApp Reviews is a feature that reviews free and bought apps from the App Store, we download them, whether free or paid and play, then either just Me and/or Ryan (10) and/or Julia (7) will tell you what we thought. Sometimes reviews just don’t tell you what you really want to know and the pictures just don’t give enough info. So the three of us (or only me) have played the game, taken screen shots  and will tell you what we honestly think. So before you download that game, check out what we thought of it first.

Have a game you are considering playing but aren’t sure send us an email and we will look into it and it might be featured on our next App Reviews

To escape, you must uncover the asylum’s dark mystery: the shattering secret that led to its condemnation. There are many doors, but there is only one way out.

Review:

Michelle: It’s ok has some very scary moments but it also feels repetitive three-stars

Both kids wanted no part of this game. It is rather scary and I suggest you use Headphones with this also, it really make everything a lot more scary. The reason I think the game is ok is because it seems to be repetitive, the monster type zombie people are all the same and so far it just seems to be the same hallway and the same zombie people. You do get a good amount of jump scares and when those monsters come at you, you will totally freak out trying to hide in a locker, which is something you have to do to avoid them and make them go away. The goal of the game is to escape the Asylum and help the little boy (ghost?) that is trapped inside. You can get weapons and gather supplies to help you along the way and you tend to sneak around the corner in hopes that one of the monsters isn’t standing there. The controls of the game are rather simple and the graphics are good just a lot of the same stuff. The monsters are really scary looking and it’s not fun when they chase you.

Overall it’s ok, great scary moments and good game control. The story just needs a little more work. I am still playing it but so far I am willing to continue until the end. Since this was just reviewed by me the over all rating is still three-stars
