#bingewatchersclub ~ Stuck in Bed, no problem, thank god for Netflix

Do you spend hours in front of the TV, maybe days? Did you ever want to chat with other Binge Watchers or ask people for suggestions or maybe just review the season you watched. Books, Movies, Reviews, Oh My! and Because Reading had the perfect idea, why not get all of us binge watchers together!!!

So I was in bed for 5 days with a pinched nerve in my neck that spread down to my back and made it impossible to move. The good news is since I was stuck in bed I decided to try binge watching something 🙂

I am still not ready to continue with Once Upon a Time but I might do it at some point just not now.

I did start The Bates Motel
TV-MA | Drama, Horror, Mystery | TV Series (2013–2017)

Staring: Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Max Thieriot

A contemporary prequel to Psycho, giving a portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years, and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is.

I am really enjoying it, I am currently on Season 3. The story takes place before Norman killed Marion Crane in the movie. This is a prequel of what I guess made him what he became in the movie. I just realized this weekend that it has 5 seasons instead of 4 and that season 5 isn’t on Netflix yet so I am hoping A&E will have it on-demand so I can finish the entire series. I will say the guy that place the sheriff is HOT!!!! and the kid that plays Norman (he’s in a new show coming out in the fall) is a great Norman. I think my favorite character is a toss between Norma (Normans mom) and Emma (Norman’s Friend). I can’t see how it all plays out. I am half way through Season 3 since it’s sort of short with about 10 episodes each season.

Have you seen Bates Motel? (please no spoilers) What did you think of it?

I highly recommend, it’s not really scary just kind of creepy. 🙂

Link up and let us know what you have been binge watching.

  1. This was one of my favorites. We used to binge watch several episodes. While I’m not a huge fan of scary shows this is one that I couldn’t get enough of. I still haven’t seen Psycho and may never watch it but I know the story and found it interesting to see how Norman came about.

  2. This is funny. I paused on Bates Motel. I guess I wasn’t in the right mood and I’m sure I’ll try it again. And I just started the newest season of Once Upon A Time. I rewatched all episodes just for kicks. We’ve switched the same shows. LOL I hope you feel better soon:)

  3. Pyscho is one of my favorite movies, so I was kind of dubious when this show premiered, but I really, really enjoyed Bates Motel. Freddie Highmore does so many great little things that remind me of Anthony Perkins. They do veer away from the movie in the fifth season, but what they do instead worked well.

    • Mine too! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen it. I was having a hard time separating but I am really enjoying it a lot. Freddie Highmore does has a few ticks that remind me of the original Norman. Season 5 isn’t on Netflix yet but I’m hoping in the next few weeks it will be they usually add seasons after the summer.
