My Summer Reading List…..It’s complete madness

Posted June 21, 2013 by Michelle in Season Reading List / 4 Comments

So I’m starting to think next years summer reading list will have to be started in January so that by the time June 21st comes around it will hopefully be completed

Most stressful list I ever made 😉

So here is what I did. I set up 10 books for sure that I want to read. It is listed from 1 to 10 but I may not read them in this order. I will however be reading book number 1, 2 & 3 first . I got one of them at BEA and it’s been calling my name since I put it on my bookshelf. (if i pick it up, look at it and put it back down one more time my husband is going to throw it out) 🙂

I also made a list of Books that aren’t out yet and they are my drop everything and read books. Which means if One of these books comes out while I’m reading another it will be the next book and all others will move down. (see why this is so stressful)

I also have a list of a few others that will be added in just in case I finish the 10 before September.
(I hate lists)

I will also keep you posted on my Week in Read-view posts how the summer list is going. I was hoping to start the first book today but I had a book I was having a hard time getting into that I might try reading tonight. If it doesn’t happen then tomorrow I will start the 1st book on the list.
(After the summer I never want to hear the word list again until the next summer)

All books are linked to Goodreads so you can read the synopsis and maybe add to your TBR List

 1. Pods by Michelle Pickett
 2. Triangles by Kimberly Ann Miller
 3. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
 4. The Clockwork Scarab by Colleen Gleason
 5. Wrong Girl by C.J. Archer
 6. Eversea by Natasha Boyd
 7. The Haunting Season by Michelle Muto
 8. Shucked by Megg Jensen
 9. The Cutting Room Floor by Dawn Klehr
10. Still Life in Brunswick Stew by Larissa Reinhart

Books I am waiting to be released…
Barbie World by Heidi Acosta
American Girl on Saturn by Nikki Godwin
Snake in the Grass by Staci Hart
Camp Boyfriend by J.K. Rock

These are books that I will be reading
when or if I finish the 10
(in no specific order)

Doll Bones by Holly Black
Falling into Us by Jasinda Wilder
The School of Good & Evil by Soman Chainani
Snow White Sorrow by Cameron Jace
The Secret of Ella & Micha by Jessica Sorenson
All In by Marta Brown
Diners, Dives & Dead Ends by Terri L. Austin
Front Page Fatality by LynDee Walker

Please note some of the books above have not been released yet
but I have advanced copies from BEA, Netgalley and/or The Publishing company.
Hold on I know what you are thinking.
There is NO WAY she can read all those books in 11 weeks
I know but it’s really wishful thinking 🙂
If I could read them all I will not only be shocked but totally impressed with myself.
No one will hear the end of me stating I read 25 books over the summer or maybe more!!!
This is obviously not set in stone. Since I’m completely mental
I’m sure this will change but I will keep you posted if it does 🙂
Now what are some books on your
summer reading list?
(because I need to find out what you guys are planning to read so I can change
my list again with all your awesome suggestions and add more books
to my TBR ’cause god knows I could always use more ) 🙂
Thanks for stopping by
Have a great weekend
and
Happy Reading!!!
