We sit for hours looking through our TBR lists wondering when we will ever get to that one book we were dying to read when we added it 3 months ago or maybe even a year. As our piles get bigger we realize there is just not enough time in a day to read all the books that we wanted to read. So I had a great idea, pick 3 books from my TBR Pile and have you all pick which one I should read next. This is a month MEME and you are more than welcome to join be my posting your voting post in the linky below. Need the rules? No problem you can find them all right HERE. Don’t forget to stop by the blogs on the linky below to help them vote on there next read!
I thought we can keep up with each list with the hashtag #MyTBRL so add that to the end of your post so if you can’t get to the linky we can still find you ๐
This month is all about the next book in a series.
So this month I picked
The Spiritglass Charadeย (Stoker & Holmes #2)
by Colleen Gleason
360 pages
Published October 7th 2014 by Chronicle Books (CA)
After the Affair of the Clockwork Scarab, Evaline Stoker and Mina Holmes are eager to help Princess Alix with a new case. Seventeen-year-old Willa Aston is obsessed with spiritual mediums, convinced she is speaking with her mother from beyond the grave. What seems like a case of spiritualist fraud quickly devolves into something far more menacing: someone is trying to make Willa “appear lunatic,” using an innocent-looking spiritglass to control her. The list of clues piles up: an unexpected murder, a gang of pickpockets, and the return of vampires to London. But are these events connected? As Uncle Sherlock would say, “there are no coincidences.” It will take all of Mina’s wit and Evaline’s muscle to keep London’s sinister underground at bay.
Cress (The Lunar Chronicles #3)
by Marissa Meyer
550 pages
Published February 4th 2014 by Feiwel & Friends
In this third book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, theyโre plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.
Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who’s only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, sheโs just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.
When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.
The Pirate Code (Hook’s Revenge #2)
by Heidi Schulz
352 pages
Expected publication: September 15th 2015 by Disney-Hyperion
Fresh off a fearsome encounter with the Neverland crocodile, Jocelyn Hook decides the most practical plan is to hunt down her father’s famous fortune. After all, she’ll need the gold to fund her adventuring in the future. (And luckily, Hook left her the map.)
But the map proves to be a bit harder to crack than Jocelyn had hoped, and she’s convinced that the horrible Peter Pan might be the only one with the answers. Of course, he doesn’t really feel like helping her, so Jocelyn takes the only reasonable course of action left to her: she kidnaps his mother. Evie, though, is absolutely thrilled to be taken prisoner, so Jocelyn’s daring ploy doesn’t have quite the effect she’d planned for.
Along with the problem of her all-too-willing captive, Jocelyn must also contend with Captain Krueger, whose general policy is that no deed is too dastardly when it comes to stealing Hook’s treasure. And with the ever-shifting Whens of the Neverland working against her as well, Jocelyn, Evie, Roger, and the rest of the Hook’s Revenge crew have their work cut out for them.
In this rambunctious showdown between characters new and old, Jocelyn puts her own brand of pirating to the test in a quest to save her future and those she loves.

Have a great day and Happy Reading!
I voted for The Spiritglass Charade but I was torn between it and Cress. ๐ I hope you’ll enjoy whichever one wins, Michelle!
I voted for Cress, because I want to read it, too!
Enjoy your vacation, Michelle. Have a fantastic week and happy reading ๐
I voted for Cress! I plan to read this for August too.
Cress! I haven’t read it yet, but I will closer to Winter coming out! ๐
I was planning on doing that too but I couldn’t figure how I would squeeze it in so I am going to read it now if it is picked. ๐
I went for the Spirtglass Charade…that cover is just wow!
All the covers to this series is amazing. It’s steampunk-ish. It’s a really great series.
Sorry because I didn’t even read the other choices. I saw Cress and went right for it. I only have Cinder but I have heard good things about the series. I’m wondering what you will think about the book.
LOL You need to read Cinder it is a fantastic series. I think because Throne of Glass 3rd book wasn’t my favorite I was scared to read this one but I keep hearing nothing but good things about it.
I picked the Spiritglass Charade, because I have been wanting to try that series, but they all sounded really good.
It’s a great series! You really should try it. I adore the characters and it has a bunch of twists and a love story and it’s just fantastic lol
I like pirates. ๐
Me too! Especially Captain Hooks daughter.
Well you know I went with Cress because I’m dying for you to read it. Really hope it wins, it’s my favorite of the books out right now!
Lol I knew you would like this list ๐
Oh what a hard choice this week. I love the cover for The Spiritglass Charade, but I heard lots of good things about the Lunar Chronicles as well and that Hook book sounds fun. I went with the same theme as you this month and picked only sequels. I ended up voting for Cress as you’re the farthest in that series and I heard good things about it.
I have been wanting to read it so I’m looking forward to all of these. I did enjoy the series I’ve just been nervous when reading series books because lately they haven’t worked for me.
They all sound good but I went with Cress, so you can tell me how it is before I get it on audio…lol. ๐
Lol since I like the other two in the series I don’t see why I won’t like this one but I’m still nervous ๐
