We sit for hours looking through our TBR lists wondering when we will ever get to that one book we were dying to read when we added it 3 months ago or maybe even a year. As our piles get bigger we realize there is just not enough time in a day to read all the books that we wanted to read. So I had a great idea, pick 3 books from my TBR Pile and have you all pick which one I should read next. This is a monthly MEME and you are more than welcome to join me. Just create a blog post with your three books and link the post below. Need the full rules? No problem, you can find them all right HERE. Don’t forget to stop by the blogs on the linky below to help the other bloggers by voting on their next read!
I thought we can keep up with each list with the hashtag #MyTBRL so add that to the end of your post so if you can’t get to the linky we can still find you 🙂

So this month I picked
So last month I ended up listening to my read on audio and I loved the book. Whether I read or listened, I just loved it. This month I have a lot of reading to do so I figured I would listen to an audio for this month again. I don’t normally listen to audio so this might be a mistake but I figured I would try again and of course going to try with books I don’t normally read either. This could either be the best idea ever or my worst. Guess we will find out at the end of the month! ;P
One of Us Is Lying
By: Karen M. McManus
Narrated by: Kim Mai Guest, MacLeod Andrews, Shannon McManus, Robbie Daymond
Length: 10 hrs and 43 mins
Unabridged Audiobook
The Breakfast Club meets Pretty Little Liars, One of Us Is Lying is the story of what happens when five strangers walk into detention and only four walk out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.
Pay close attention and you might solve this.
On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention.
Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule.
Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess.
Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing.
Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher.
And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High’s notorious gossip app.
Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention, Simon’s dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn’t an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he’d planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who’s still on the loose?
Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them.
Two Can Keep a Secret
By: Karen M. McManus
Narrated by: Sophie Amoss, Kirby Heyborne
Length: 10 hrs and 6 mins
Unabridged Audiobook
Echo Ridge is small-town America. Ellery’s never been there, but she’s heard all about it. Her aunt went missing there at age seventeen. And only five years ago, a homecoming queen put the town on the map when she was killed. Now Ellery has to move there to live with a grandmother she barely knows.
The town is picture-perfect, but it’s hiding secrets. And before school even begins for Ellery, someone’s declared open season on homecoming, promising to make it as dangerous as it was five years ago. Then, almost as if to prove it, another girl goes missing.
Ellery knows all about secrets. Her mother has them; her grandmother does too. And the longer she’s in Echo Ridge, the clearer it becomes that everyone there is hiding something. The thing is, secrets are dangerous–and most people aren’t good at keeping them. Which is why in Echo Ridge, it’s safest to keep your secrets to yourself.
Killing November
By: Adriana Mather
Narrated by: Cassandra Morris
Length: 11 hrs and 47 mins
Unabridged Audiobook
It’s a school completely off the grid, hidden by dense forest and surrounded by traps. There’s no electricity, no internet, and an eye-for-an-eye punishment system. Classes include everything from Knife-Throwing and Poisons to the Art of Deception and Historical Analysis. And all of the students are children of the world’s most elite strategists—training to become assassins, counselors, spies, and master impersonators. Into this world walks November Adley, who quickly discovers that friends are few in a school where personal revelations are discouraged and competition is everything. When another student is murdered, all eyes turn to November, who must figure out exactly how she fits into the school’s bizarre strategy games before she is found guilty of the crime…or becomes the killer’s next victim.

Me too! Especially when it has a murder twist or even thriller type.
Thanks for voting! 🙂
In picked Two Can Keep A Secret because I own it, and would like to read the review.
This was a hard one this month because I just didn’t know what I wanted to read and these are so different but they all sound so good.
Thanks for voting!
Can you just read all three? I don’t know how to help you choose! I am going to go with One of Us Is Lying, but you should read them all. LOL Have a great week!
Lol, I am hoping to listen to at least one audio book a month, so I might be able to listen to the rest after this month because they sound soooo good!
Thanks for voting!
Oh my gosh you have three EXCELLENT choices here. I’ve read all three and Two Can Keep A secret especially is amazing. But I voted Killing November cause it’s amazing too and I just finished it recently. But you can’t go wrong w/ any of these.
Wanted something different but I’m so glad you enjoyed them all! They all just sound sooo good! Thanks for voting Greg!
I went with Killing November! ThAts one I want to read. I have read the other two and I recommend them especially two can keep a secret!
Well if those don’t win I will make sure to get them before the end of the year. I just love the way they sound. Thanks for voting.
I picked Killing November. I’ve heard it’s really good, it’s on my TBR too 😉
We can trade opinions if both our picks win! 🙂 Thanks for voting! <3
I also picked One of Us is Lying. I recognize the narrators for both of the McManus books and I like them. Plus the 4 narrators should be a nice performance with each of the 4 having their own voice.
The last book I listened too had two and I liked it. Single narrators really need to have a good voice changing. Ever After High, my kids and I listened to the womans voices were great, you can totally tell what character was talking without her saying it. I love that it has a full cast. Thanks for voting Anne.
Haha, yeah, audio for a challenge can be something extra, but hopefully it works out smoothly for you. I picked the last because of the title. Curious.
I can listen on the way to work and when I cook dinner so it might not be that bad but since I don’t listen a lot this could be not a good idea lol but I know I wont be able to read another book with the ones I already have to read.
Thanks for voting! 🙂
I voted for One of Us is Lying. The premise caught my eye along with the Breakfast Club/Pretty Little Liars comparison.
YES! that is what I loved about it. Thanks for voting Whitney! 🙂
