Week in READview:

Real life, Blogging & Reading:

This week was a little crazy getting back into the swing of things now that we are home. Nothing exciting happened just busy and I was actually rather happy about it. The house was pretty much in good shape when we got home. I did a quick cleaning and put all the stuff away so this weekend I was able to focus on finishing up posts and getting some design work finished.

I was very happy with what I was able to do yesterday and hope to get a few more posts done today to get back to twi weeks ahead. This month is filled with check in posts and the Reading Assignment will have registration for the Summer Semester. I didn’t do so well for the spring but I hope to work on that challenge a little more this semester.

I was able to finish To Kill a Kingdom this week and it was really good, I listened to it on audio and it had two people speaking the parts which I actually enjoyed better than one person. the story turned out a lot better then I thought it would and I really liked it. I came up with a book plan to try and have a physical & Ebooks going at the same time and also try to listen to one audio book a month. This month My TBR list is of three audio books, if you have a chance stop by and vote for which one you think I should read this month.

Sign Up will be live on Monday, May 6th, 2019

This one is going to be so much fun and as crazy as it might sound, it is super easy and relaxed. I love a good Pirate themed challenge! lol

What I am watching:

I watched the Ted Bundy movie and the documentary (almost finished with it). It was interesting, I am thinking of making a post about it, especially the movie. I have also been watching Bones again but I am pretty sure you already knew that.

Books

(Read, Currently Reading & Next)

What I grabbed:

Owlcrate Box! The Owlcrate Wicked Saints is gorgeous. I love the black cover compared to the white they are selling in stores. I love the Six of Crow Socks! Dog not included in the box.

My daughter took apart her book box so I wasn’t able to get a picture but she got a cute game and activity books that she took with us to Florida. It was a really fun box.

  1. It always takes some time to get back in the swing of things after a vacation. That’s nice you had a good busy week and had some design work to work on.

I am excited to see that sign-ups for the next Coyer should be open soon. I am looking forward to the next Coyer, it’s always such a fun challenge :). The Pirate theme sounds fun!

Good to hear you enjoyed To Kill a Kingdom, I’ve been curious about that one. It sounds good.

Nice picture of your owlcrate box with the your dog next to it :).

    I hope you’ll have a great week!

  2. Doesn’t it feel great to get in a good grove?! I haven’t watched the Ted Bundy movie so I’d be interested to hear what you think! I started the Ted Bundy Tapes on Netflix but didn’t finish them. I really like that Wicked Saints cover! I have a copy of the original cover and it isn’t nearly as pretty! I’ll be checking out the COYER challenge too.

Hope you have a great week!

  3. To Kill A Kingdom is on my TBR too. I’m glad you’re settled back in after your holiday! I haven’t made any progress yet on my ‘Read a Series in a Month’ as I’m in a serious slump but I think I’ll start book one today and see how I go!

  6. YAY for having everything in order after your vacation, Michelle. We got a new heater and hot water thingy installed last week – and yesterday (of course it had to be a Saturday) we had no heat and no hot water 😀 It’s all good again now, though, thank goodness!
I can’t wait for the next COYER to start… I just hope you and Berls aren’t going to kill us with rules :O
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading. Miss your face!! xoxo

    • Our dryer gave up before we left, I was freaking out because i didn’t want a lot of laundry… thankfully we know someone that was able to fix it.
We face chatting and it were cracking up. I posted a picture in the group. She needs to post the pictures she took of me and scot. I think you are all going to love it this time. I have some work to do now for before it starts. 🙂 I might do a face time for anyone that has questions because I feel like you all will have questions for this challenge. 🙂
