We sit for hours looking through our TBR lists wondering when we will ever get to that one book we were dying to read when we added it 3 months ago or maybe even a year. As our piles get bigger we realize there is just not enough time in a day to read all the books that we wanted to read. So I had a great idea, pick 3 books from my TBR Pile and have you all pick which one I should read next. This is a monthly MEME and you are more than welcome to join me. Just create a blog post with your three books and link the post below. Need the full rules? No problem, you can find them all right HERE. Don’t forget to stop by the blogs on the linky below to help the other bloggers by voting on their next read!

So this month I picked

Camp Slasher
by Dan Padavona

Goodreads

Lost in the dark woods. Stalked and butchered. Head severed and tossed into the bushes. She is the first to die. The body count will grow.

Slasher horror in the vein of Friday the 13th, Halloween, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

A group of young counselors set out to rebuild Camp Black Bear. But a bloodthirsty killer stalks the woods.

Now two counselors must survive the night in the forest. The killer is hunting them. He won’t stop until they are dead.

And the nearest town is ten miles away.

Where is the sheriff who promised to keep them safe? Can the counselors evade the killer until help arrives?

More victims are found murdered in the woods. The vehicles are destroyed and the radio disabled. No escape.

Footsteps in the dark. The killer is coming.

Classic slasher horror that will leave fans of Stephen King, Friday the 13th, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre breathless. Fans of true slasher horror should get to know Camp Slasher.

Video Night
by Adam Cesare

Goodreadshttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15814694-video-night?ac=1&from_search=true&qid=t2r7m9eIzR&rank=2

Who knows more about fighting a monster invasion than a group of teenage horror fans?

Billy Rile is smart, adept at Nintendo and has a killer Hi-Fi setup. Life is good. But he has no idea that an alien life form has infected his town, a creature that overtakes and transforms its host.

It could be inside anyone: a classmate, a pizza delivery man, even the girl next door. When Billy’s weekly movie night is crashed by this otherworldly menace, he and his best friend and their dates will have to summon their courage and call upon all their horror movie knowledge if they’re going to make it through Video Night alive.

Kill River
(Kill River #1)
by Cameron Roubique

Goodreads

In the summer of 1983, thirteen-year-old Cyndi and her three new-found friends Stacy, Zack, and Brad decide to sneak away from their summer camp in the middle of the night by rafting down the nearby rivers. After spending a tense night lost in the woods, the four teenagers stumble into a mysterious water park that appears to be completely empty.

At first, they are thrilled to have the rides all to themselves, at least until one of them disappears. Soon they discover that they are trapped in the park, and a dark figure is stalking them from the shadows, picking them off one by one. Once night falls, Cyndi will have to fight to escape the park, a masked maniac, and a living nightmare.

Kill River is a wild water park ride filled with blood, gore, and ’80s nostalgia. Slasher fans rejoice, old-school horror is back!
