Sunday Post to say no Sunday post~ WIR & SP

I’m writing a Sunday Post to tell you there will be no Sunday Post.

My grandfather passed away about 32 years ago. He has waited patiently for my Grandmother to finish all she needed to do and on Tuesday he (and god) called her home. My heart is broken and I am beyond sad. I will miss you forever, Nanny! She passed sudeenly and I can honestly say I was not ready. She had a laugh that was always genuine and filled with love and she took such good care of us. We hit the Nanny lottery! My kids are blessed to have gotten to spend so much time with her. I will miss her very much.

On Sunday (today) is the wake and then on Monday we say our final goodbye. I might not be around this week I am going to try and post some stuff if I can but it might be a super light week. I will be back next Sunday.

I will still be attending BookCon with my daughter, want to keep things as normal as possible so some time next week I will have a full update on how BookCon was, I have never been there before. I do have so much I wanted to share this week but I just don’t have the energy to do it. I will next Sunday, promise! 🙂

  1. Hugs, Michelle. I know you will miss her; the love shines in your photos. But how wonderful that your children had these years with her! So many never get to know their great-grandparents at all, but yours will have lovely memories of her. And I hope it’s a comfort to think of her reunited with your grandfather. May your memories bring you joy, may your family and friends bring you comfort, and may God bring you peace.

  3. I am s very sorry for your loss! My grandfather passed away last month so I can relate. There’s no way tomorrow will be easy but I’ll be thinking of you!
