My TBR List Review ~ The Haunted Library Books 1, 2 & 3

I am planning on a full review of these in October but I wanted to review this as a series for the TBR List review.

Trying to over come a dreaded slump I raided my sons shelf and found The Notebook of Doom books, I figured I would do something a little different this month and bought a few more chapter books that I thought would be fun and hopefully get me out of my slump. The Haunted Library was the winner this month and I couldn’t have been more excited to get into reading them. They are obviously quick reads for adult but they are so cute and fun for kids. Not scary at all and just cute adventures. Kaz lost his family to the Outside when they are all blown away from their old haunt. Separated Kaz finds himself in a library with a quirky little girl names Claire that can actually seem him. Claire want to be a detective like her parents but of course she is too young so she has to stay with her grandmother in her library and help out. The library has two ghost and Claire can see them both. She wants to help Kaz and they both go on a fun adventure looking for Kaz’s family. Each book brings Kaz closer to maybe finding his family. The characters are really cute and the stories are fun to read along to.

If you are looking for a fun read to start with a child who is just branching out reading, this is a great first series for them Love this series and can’t wait to get the rest.
