Tell Me Something Tuesday was hosted by Rainy Day Ramblings, but she has (temporarily?) stopped blogging. So a group of us that had been doing posts (Linda from Book Girl of Mur-y-Castell, Karen from For What It’s Worth, Roberta from Offbeat YA, Jen from That’s What I’m Talking About and me) decided to get together, come up with some more topics and keep the meme going.Michelle made us a logo and we’re off and running. For more details, check out this post where I reintroduced the meme.
I can be sporadic, but when I do join in I will always share next week’s topic at the end of the post. So, today is about…
What books are you looking forward to reading in Fall 2021? (September-November)
As I mentioned in the Summer TBR List post, I’m not great at planning my reading. I’m very much a mood reader. I did, however, read 6 of the 12 books that I listed on that post (which I realize would only be 50% — if we were grading an F — but for considering how unpredictable my reading is, that’s fantastic). So I’m going with the same strategy and looking at some books I have for audio review and plan to read — I’m much more successful at audio books.
I’ll also definitely be reading the rest of the Psy-Changling series for the Readalong (I *might* not finish the last one until early December). But it will be lots of mood reading, as always 🙂
I don’t know what I would read if I were a mood reader – I need a schedule and order. Isn’t that weird? But it works for me. Once and I while I’ll skip a scheduled book because I wasn’t in the mood, but rarely.
I hope you enjoy Goodbye’s a Witch. I can’t believe the series is over!
I used to be very scheduled with my reading, when I first started blogging. But a couple years of that and reading started feeling like a chore. So I switched to mood reading again and voila! I loved reading again. I have a general plan of books I’m going to read next, but nothing written in stone. I’m super excited to read Goodbye’s a Witch, but also don’t want the series to be over, so I’m taking my time lol
I’m pretty good about sticking to a schedule because I juggle them a little if I’m moody. I enjoyed the Chloe Neill books, the Kelley Armstrong. I have read some of the Danielle Garrett books and hope to get to that one.
I’m not the best at sticking to a TBR either, but have some books I need to read or listen to for Blog Tours or ARCs. For September, my goal is as many Cozy Mysteries as I can read that are on my TBR and October will be ARCs of Christmas stories. I’ll see how I do. Good luck to you to get all those Audiobooks listened to.
I’m also gonna be mood reading a lot 😛
