This #COYER is a MONSTER! Here is what Michelle plans to do…

Posted June 8, 2018 by Michelle in COYER / 4 Comments

I am so excited about this COYER and it’s taking me a while to figure out exactly what I want to do. I am not planning on doing everything but I want to participate in as much as I can.

My main goal for this COYER is to read as much as possible for I am going with the Spring Clean 11 to 20 books

I plan to participate in all of the Readathons since I will be hosting them in the group. Since I am not a fast reader I am assigning one book for this readathon and hope to read more but I will be happy if I can just read the one.

  • Fairy Tales with a Twist: Read fairy tale re-tellings and give those childhood favorites a twist! Read-a-thon runs Sunday June 17th 12am EST to Saturday June 23rd 11:59pm EST
  • Christmas in July!: Read Holiday themed books. Read-a-thon runs Sunday July 15th 12am EST to Saturday July 21st 11:59pm EST
    • Let it Snow (Passion & Promises #1) by Erica Ridley
  • Dusting Off The Shelves: Read the oldest books in your physical or e-library. They have to have sat on your shelf for at least 1 year. Read-a-thon runs Sunday July 29th 12am EST to Saturday August 4th 11:59pm EST
  • Scary Stories by the Campfire!:Read about ghosts, goblins, and any other horror/thriller that would make for a scary campfire tale!Read-a-thon runs Sunday August 5th 12am EST to Saturday August 11th 11:59pm EST
  • Short and Sweet! Fill your final days not with Novels but with Novellas! Read-a-thon runs Sunday August 26th 12am EST to Friday August 31st 11:59pm EST
    • I will update this at some point, I don’t have a lot of novellas at the moment but I will start looking for them. Suggestions welcomed! 🙂

The list is linked to a Goodreads shelf but I will list the books below, if you want to see covers and synopsis check out the Goodreads shelf.

  1. Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
  2. The Glass Sentence by S.E.Grove
  3. Invictus by Ryan Graudin
  4. An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
  5. Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody
  6. The Magic Misfits by Neil Patrick Harris
  7. Frostblood by Elly Blake
  8. The Novice by Taran Matharu
  9. To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
  10. Addison Cooke by Jonathan W. Stokes
  11. Daughter of Smoke & Bones by Laini Taylor
  12. Warcross by Marie Lu
  13. Illuminae by Kaufman & Kristoff
  14. Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messengar
  15. Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young

I am also going to try to do The Strict, the List and the One with the Twist and maybe Hurricane Berls. It all depends on how I am doing with Reading.

For now I think that is it. I am hoping I do good with this challenge as the last two COYERs I didn’t do so well.

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget, you still have time to join COYER!

  1. Ooh Scary Stories sounds fun, ha ha. Yay for COYER! I just finished Sky in the Deep- pretty good- and Warcross was the bomb.
