Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at The Broke and the Bookish. They love to share lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Top Ten Unique Book Titles
I don’t know if unique is the right word for the titles I selected, but they have that something special that I like. Some of them are punny – what can I say, I like a good pun! – and others just end up having a much deeper meaning for the story. I love when the meaning isn’t immediately apparent and you spend the book figuring it out. And sometimes the typography really plays into the title’s meaning. Anyway… maybe I should have called this clever titles? Anyway, here are my picks!
- How to Date Dead Guys
- Scratch
- Ugly Love
- Grave Dance
- Woof at the Door
- Witch Slapped
- Sugar Daddy
- Snow Like Ashes
- Quit Your Witchin’
- Deja Who
I think I have the How to Date Dead Guys ARC and I’m pretty sure I requested it purely on the title ๐
Oh yes. That book will surprise you – deeper than the title made me think it would be. Fun, but not purely fun. ๐
Clever titles are just as fun! I definitely love a good pun, too. I think the best on your list is Ugly Love.
Ugly love was an amazing book! Love a great pun ๐
I love a good title pun! I think that’s one of the reasons I read cozy mysteries! These are great choices. I think my favorite is Witch Slapped.
Have you read witch slapped? It’s a fun story! Yeah, title puns are great ๐
You do like the puns. ๐ Ugly Love is one that I like. It just fits the story so well. And Snow Like Ashes. I havenโt read that one but I love the title.
Puns are so fun. Yes, I think that probably makes me a nerd lol!
I think my favorite book title has to be “The Utterly Uninteresting and Unadventurous Tales of Fred, the Vampire Accountant” by Drew Hayes. That title completely caught my eye and I had to listen to the book. I really enjoyed it, so I’m very thankful for this title.
Hahaha that’s a great title. Now I’m curious about it!
OOh nice picks! Only read two of these myself! And I still need to finish Raasch’s trilogy! So behind on so many trilogies!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

I still need to finish Raasch’s trilogy too. I can’t keep up with any series!
