Alessandra is tired of being overlooked, but she has a plan to gain power:

But Alessandra’s not the only one trying to kill the king. As attempts on his life are made, she finds herself trying to keep him alive long enough for him to make her his queen—all while struggling not to lose her heart. After all, who better for a Shadow King than a cunning, villainous queen?

I don’t care what she writes about I will read it. I am a HUGE fan of Tricia Levenseller. I read her first Daughter of the Pirate King duology and also Warrior of the Wild and I LOVED them. I still need to read book two of Daughter of the Pirate King but of course I bought them both so I can read the first book again. I LOVED IT! I can not wait to get my hands on this and will be getting it as soon as it is released.

    I was coming up blank on the author until you mentioned Daughter of the Pirate King. I have those on my list. Neat that you have a new one to look forward to.
